In Search of Marrow Bones

My new friend, River, gave me this nice award.

Thanks, buddy, I'm almost a daily blogger, but you know how lazy the peoples can be. Speaking of which, Momma was home from work with the sickies today, so not much happened. Yesterday, it was all raining and stuff, but since it was cool enough for me to go in the mastiff mobile, I suggested that a marrow bone expedition was in order.

I was glad to see that the stinkin labracage had been removed from my ride, but this little cozy blanket was still there.

Pee yew! I think he barfed on this.My friends Agatha and Archie told me that we could buy giant sacks of marrow bones at the Whole Foodies, plus, its a great place for momma to spend tons of money. But when she came back, all she had was some soy milk and bananas. What a total letdown. Not to worry, I instructed her to drive like the wind to the dog store where not only do they have a big freezer of marrow bones, but also.... car cookies! Oh boy! A UPS man!Whilst I was out running errands, I instructed pee-wee to go in the basement and fire up the giant freezer so that it would be ready for the arrival of marrow bones. When he went to check if it was cold or not, he was surprised to stumble along momma's secret science project. That's right, over the winter while the freezer was off, momma magically transformed green beans into a brown, foamy liquid. That ain't food!Pee-wee reported that the freezer wasn't even getting cold and must have totally died over the winter. Not good news.Although since there is no room in the little freezer for my bones, I should just have them all at once... NOW!At least this time I actually got a Mango sized bone. Yummers!Mango Man! Oh yeah!

I think it might not be a bad thing that the fridge is spoilt. That just means that you will get all the bone once its bought right? It will be fresher in that way.

That's a great looking bone. I like to do errands too. We have that kibble puke smell in our car too thanks to Arrow. Especially when there is food involved. Nice job for the award. You deserve it.

RIP to your freezer and the "science project."

did you enjoy your marrow bone?

Mom likes Whole Foods but doesn't really go there that much because she'd buy out the whole store as all the food looks bootiful...oh and she'd put us into great debt if she did that which would mean that she couldn't buy us our $$ dog food!

Get that freezer fixed. You need a place for those bones and frosty paws. No experiments are to be done in it.

Oh Mango...that pic of you lookin' sad from no marrow bones at whole foodies was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen!!!

And we read ur post of the spa visit...oh my...how long does it take to bath a big guy like you?????

So Pee Wee pukies in the car?? Babystan used to do that too...we started givin' him his dinner in the car when it was parked in the driveway...so he associated the car with a fun thing...LIKE FOOD. It took a little while, but he's fine now...unless Bruvver is drivin'...yeppers...then he barfies all over the place....yik!!!!!

My humans will sometimes get us marrow bones from Whole Feasts too, but they're not as big as yours. Now THAT's a quality, Mango-licious snack! Man, does that gigantic marrow bone look like feasting tastiness. You are one lucky Mango.
