Stains Explained and Garden Update

Hector Wheelie here!

Today finds me doing my usual tour of the garden to check up on things.

I am concerned that certain doggies in the house have eaten all the wally melon because I searched and searched in the wally melon bed, but could not find any. I will keep looking.

Next on to the zucchini. I must say that this plant is a bit scary. Many zucchini much bigger than yours truly have already been harvested, so no worries here.

My inspection of the tomato plants was interrupted...By a question posed by Mango. He was quite confused about the whole stain issue. He was concerned because he said the stain he left on the floor was a bad thing, but Momma keeps talking about getting all the floors stained and does that mean that somebody is going to come in and make, let's just say, deposits, all over our new living room floor. Sigh...I explained to the simple chap that "stain" can mean many things and that there are good stains and bad stains. This seemed to enrage him and he buffeted me about demanding a better explanation. He said, "If its stains they want, why can't I provide them?"I opted to ignore this insane line of inquiry and continue with my inspection by checking out the apple tree (thanks to my trips to boot camp I am now equipped to belay up into a tree). Looks like we have plenty of apples coming along. But Mango just couldn't let it rest. All over me with the questions, "but a stain is a stain, right? and I can provide more than enough staining and it wouldn't cost anything and...." I think this is going to take a while...Hector Wheelie. Over and out.

It seems Mango is a bit touchy on the subject of STAINS. Perhaps you should let it rest ... how is his tummy doing?

tell mango to not worry about stains any longer. It will mess up his meditation.

Mango's best bet would be to go and ask the minister of stains, Mr. Joseph Stains.

Hi Hector!

Those pictures of you checking out the garden are so cool! Tell Mango not to worry...he seems a little stressed from the worrying.

I can see why Mango may be starting some OCD on the stain issue. He should meditate on the problem.

Poor Mango. Clearly he's confused between the different stains. Totally understandable btw.

Oh Mango, I have trouble with the concept of "business" too. I don't know why my humans have to take whole trips to do their business when they seem to do it just fine in the bathroom and I only need to go on the street.

Maybe they want a stain that smells better??

Hi, Hector...

That's a great garden...

I don't understand this stain thing either...There are good places to stain & bad places to stain...

And good stains & bad stains...

No wonder poor Mango is confused...

Hector,
Sometimes you must explain things over and over. I know this some having 2 brothers who don't seem to "get it" on the first try ever.
We enjoyed your trip in the garden. Watch your back for the big guy.

Hector thanks for the tour of the scrumptious garden.

Tell Mango, he is right he could perform the staining for the floors but he might not get to eat the chicken and rice then ... mm I see the dilemma.

Good stains...bad stains! How's a dog supposed to know which is which. Patches made a few stains on our carpet when she first came here, but think it was because she was nervous. She hasn't done it in a while. Don't dwell on it, Mango. Trying to figure out good vs. bad will just drive you crazy.

Ah! Sophie hit the nail right on the head! I never thought of it but tis true. Hector is Dumbledore to Mangoville! (And I suspect PeeWee needs alot of his wisdom and guidance too)
We like your garden. It's been so hot here we have a fine garden of brown vegetation. Quite pretty with the different shades! (Mom is too cheap to water, except for the birdbath)

Hugs all around
Sunny, Scooter & Jamie (the cheap human bean who will not water. Before I moved I had my well and didn't PAY for water gah)

Humans are just too worried about floors and stains. It's all too complicated. That garden looks like a good place to pee. How'd you get up the apple tree?
