Miscellaneous Monday

Not much going on around here today.

I tried that whole snuggle thing with pee-wee to make the Red Sox win, but I guess I don't do it right, because, well...

I talked to pee-wee for a while.Played with pee-wee...Played with my stuffie.

Worked on my pointing skills.

Had some deep thoughts. That's about it.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

P.S. Mango Momma here. Did anybody else watch that Dogs 101 show on animal planet? Of course I had to watch because there was an Airedale (like my old Angus) and a lab like Dex. But I thought the show was pretty superficial. I think they really glossed over the, let's call it vigor, with which an airedale puppy explores his surroundings. Also, they said two 20 minute walks / day to keep and airedale exercised. If that's all Angus had in his youth he would have been bouncing off the walls. I'll be anxious to see what they have to say about mastiffs. Wonder if they will mention the challenge of disposing of mastiff sized poops?

I had no idea that Mastiffs pointed Mango. You have very good form. Maybe you were a setter in a previous life.

Sorry about those Sox dude. I hope the snuggling didn't hurt too bad, I also hope you farted on him a couple of times.

Look at the bright side, Mango - you don't have to snuggle with Pee Wee anymore.

Excellent pictures of you today. You looked very impressive doing everything!

(The Girl: We get Nat'l Geo up here in Canada, but we never seem to get the new shows right away. I was sad to have missed it, but I guess I don't have to be!)

Brown dog kisses,

Hi,
I left you a mesage about the Awards a few days ago, have you read it yet?
Do you want me to haul it to your door on my tiny paws?
Come to my blog when you have time to pick your Award and see if my Halloween look could scare something out of you!
Cheers!

You had a pretty busy Monday. Snuggling is with my little bro is too hard for me.

I'm going to have my mom look for that dog show. I think she needs more exercise. At least an hour and a half a day. At the park.

Aww.. Poor guy!
As for the other part Mom grew up with an airedale and agree on the exercise part! She say 20 minutes would be on the short side for a pug...

Mango, Dexter can walk right under your relentlessly huge self! Our mom watched that show on Animal Planet too and you're right...it left out a whole lot of stuff people need to know if they want to get an Aire-kid! Also, they said we don't shed! What? Then why is our house always full of hairy tumbleweeds? We think that whoever says Airedales don't shed never had an Airedale! We're just sayin'...

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

I don't think we get that show here, but we know where you are coming from. Mum watched a program recently on rotties and switched between gasping in disbelief and snorting with laughter.. i think from what I heard Mum and Dad say that it portrayed us all as killing machines with a bloodlust and tendencys to hold baby sacrifices.. yeah.. just about sums me up that! That show failed to cover the complexities of disposing of my mammoth and frequent poop piles so don't hold your breath on that score!

love and tailwags,

Ben xxxx

We didn't see that show, but it sounds pretty stupid. We will try to catch it just for the entertainment value. We have decided that baseball season is over, no thanks to the Cubs AND the White Sox. Chicagoans are soooooooo used to disappointment ...

I didn't know you were a pointer! What kind of things do you point at? I mostly point at tennis balls and pheasants.

Hi Mango,
Thanks for visiting my blog and for the advice not to take much advice from peoples. I get what you say.

You are a big, handsome guy, Mango, and I love a deep thinker. Mostly I think about the cat who lived here before me but has now moved to the second floor because she hates me. Can you imagine that? What would I do to a cat?

Kisses,
Stella

We didn't watch the dog show cause we live down the butt end of the world and it wasn't on telly here.....sigh.

Mango, I have a real pointer friend and you look JUST LIKE HIM! (except for the size and brown-ness part... tee hee)

2x20 minute walks a day? HAHAHAHAHA!!! Someone on the editing team must have a sense of humor. I bet it said, "2x20 minute walks a day and 2 hours of intense play..." Because I am a self-described LAZY PUPPY and 2x20 minute walks a day wouldn't do squat!

HAHAHAHAHHA...
