Hector Attempts to Snow Board

I was getting a bit of cabin fever due to all the cold and snow and not having snow wheels, so last night I decided to attack the situation. I snuck into the Master's workshop in search of something that would make me snow ready.

Man, these pieces of rocking chair would make a great sled!Unfortunately, I am not allowed to use power tools, so I had to make due as best I could. I was able to fashion a passable snow board and I was ready for my snow adventure. So, here is the video of my venture into the realm of snow sports. I have to say that it might have been wise to listen to the Ski Patrol when they advised me to stick to the bunny slope, but, well, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
Hector Wheelie! Over and out!

Such dangerous sport woo undertake. PeeWee wasn't much help getting up those hills. Maybe woo should have enlisted help from RH - then woo would really have had quite the ride.

Hector, have you ever thought of getting snowboarding lessons matie? You kinda look like you need them. Did it hurt very much when you stopped on that rocky ground?

Well done Hector. Glad you're still in one piece. Maybe snow shoeing would have been a better introduction to snow sports. Or ice skating. But you done good.

You are one adventuresome wheelie. Holy Moly you sure took on some big slopes there.

Wow Hector! Those are some made wheelie skills!

I didn't realize little Dexter was in the Ski Patrol..that must have happened when he turned a ripe ole one year old..good thing he's making use of his jumping & barking skillz!

You would think that Dexter would have suggested a helmet for you..I'm sure there is one laying around somewhere that Mr. RH should be using...

Hi, Hector...

Looks like the cross country skiing is less painful...

I'd stick to that...

That looks like great fun!

I think Mango could do a good job packing down that snow to make an easy path for Hector.

Hector,

I think you should hold off on the Black (Lab) Diamond slopes for awhile!

Didn't you read the disclaimer that said, "Do not try this at home. These stunts are performed by professionals."?

You can really tell that ski patrol guy wasn't a Terrier...a terrier woulda eaten ya...or at least chased you like mad...

Oh Mango..you rarely have BRILLIANT ideas, but that mental pic you created of Scruff with a string stickin' outta both ends was just that...Stan and I have been encouragin' him to eat a ball of string...then we're gonna play a good game of tuggie or Floss the Scruff...wanna come over????

Hey Hector,
Those slopes sure were rough. Smooth snow is so much more fun. Hope you didn't get too bruised up.

LOL Great run Hector. I thought the Ski Patrol was going to eat Hector! Or maybe carry him to safety in his mouth. My bearded owner can give Hector some lessons if he comes to Colorado. Duck tape is very fashionable for snowboarders. And for ducks.
