Mango Confessions

My goodness things have certainly been hopping at the estate! We had sooooo many visitors today and I had to greet them all. Grandma and Grandpa came by, and lots of Master's friends as well. We also had another visit from the fire marshal, the insurance guy, and some nice men who put boards on our barn. I am beat!

Momma found these little packages of Pumpkin treats at the doggie store and suggested I include them in the Mango Minster prize packages (which Momma says she will try to mail tomorrow).

Naturally before I did so I had to taste test to make sure they were Mango approved. I was a bit reluctant since I was not sure exactly what part of Pumpkin they contained (and she's such a little thing, I'm not sure how she made enough treats to fill all those bags).
So I suggested to Pee-Wee that he might want to have one first...

When he didn't pass out or anything, I agreed to let a couple slide down my large and welcoming gullet. YUMMERS!
A while back, my friend, Suzuki, gave me the honesty challenge in which you need to reveal at least ten things about yourself. I think most of my friends have taken this already, but if you haven't, pick up the picture and give it a go.
1) Every night about 10 minutes after Momma and Master go to bed, I do a night patrol of the house to make sure things are all buttoned up.

2) Momma worries that there will be "too much Mango" As if! And so she pinches me a lot to determine if I need more or (usually) less kibbles.
3) If ANYTHING happens that makes me grouchy (like getting my ears cleaned, or having somebody bump me when I am meditating) I take it out on Pee-Wee if he is handy. Just a head butt, but I suppose it isn't fair.

4) I prefer small toys that I can fit entirely in my large and slimy mouth. Given my tendency to swallow things whole, this leads to many of my favorite toys only been enjoyed under snoopervision.
5) I am OK with the peoples piling things on me whilst I meditate if that's how they get their jollies.
6) I respect the force fields at the estate, such as the one preventing my hiney from entering in the peoples sleepy place (note pointed little labrahead indicating that certain Pee-Wee doggies DO NOT respect the force fields when they think walkies are about to happen).
7) I talk in my sleep... a lot. I howl and moan and growl and make all sorts of sounds that rattle the windows.

8) I am not a good watch dog, but am a very good guard dog once junior wakes me up.

9) I actually enjoy dressing up, but its so hard to find things in husky sizes.
10) I am not as fastidious as I might be about my toilet which results in getting my bum wiped (which makes me grouchy).
Mango Man! Oh yeah!

P.S. Momma says to tell you that I might not be visiting your bloggies as often as usual for a while because she is running out of bandwidth or something like that. Sigh...

Mango Man, you are the best! Sounds like you had a busy day? Moose loves pumpkin so we will have to look for those treats. It helps with poo issues too so maybe you will have less bum cleaning needs if you eat them? I guess that could go either way though ;-)

Mango,
I'm so glad all of you are safe. Were you scared? Whoa, you made headline on the local newpaper and TV! The barn burned just like in Western action movie. I tried to send message before but your blog wouln't let me, it made me choose a profile, then verify a word which never completely loaded. I didn't remember to shoot you pee-mail, please forgive my junior moment.
You take care, buddy, and hey the shoes rack picture is so hilarious!

Mango...we hate when we run outta bandwidth...um...what's that? Is it when your clothes are too tight after you've guzzled too much kibble??? Hmm...Seems like she could just let out her bandwidth...

We tried to leave a comment this morning...but blogger was 'noxious...we are sooooooooooooo relieved that you and Peewee and Master and Momma are all ok...and that ur housie is ok too cuz I don't know where you all would have gone to live and I don't know if you could fit under Agatha's bomb shelter and whew...we are just so relieved. We know your peeps are probably very upset...you might wanna offer them half of your car cookie this weekend, Mango...course that might get into more bandwidth issues...
Oh..tell your momma that we sent ya a card...or rather I did...Lacie giggles and looks down at the floor....

Those Pumpkin treaties look amazin'...yummers!!

Love ya lots, Dear Boy!

I hope Mom and the master are able to replace everything. Oh, Mom wanted me to tell you how great you look in your St. Patricks Day outfit. I think I'm going to have to dress up now. Oh boy!

Hi Mango,

On those rare occasions when I do indulge in carbs those Pumpkin treaties are pretty good. Though I think they owe me royalties. I do watch my figure though. I don't want to get into the double-digits!

Hmmm.. you make a pretty good shoe shelf!

I get wiped too, it is quite humiliating :( Don't worry about visiting bloggies or mailing packages, just get that workshop straightened out!

Okay!

I'm going to sum up the last few comments I've left while catching up on your last few posts (so you don't have to go back & check).

FIrst ~ STINKIN' STINKIN' relieved that you, Dexter and your mama & master are all okay! We're glad most of the estate is undamaged, but what a bummer about the workshop.

Second ~ tell your mama that we can wait on the Mango Minster stuff, and we totally understand that you might not be able to visit much. She has plenty of other fish to fry right now. (Mmmm... fish...)

Third ~ what language was that fireman speaking in the video, man? We needed subtitles.

Fourth ~ we're sending extra juicy goob smooches to you for cheering up the Mango mama, to Dexter for not being too much of a dork, to your mama for being, well, your mama, and to your dad since his clubhouse was damaged.

Goober love & smooches galore,
Stanley

Very good honest list Mango. We don't have them forcefield things here that I've noticed. Sometimes some rooms do have this thing that makes the mum say 'out!' is that one of them?
Glad them treats are good, you've got to test these things before dishing them out.

Thanks for your honesty.

Also, our mom wanted you to know how good pumpkin is for you. It is a very good belly and stool regulator. If your stool is too hard, it will soften it. If it is too soft, it will harden it. It is one of the only type of foods that works both ways. Always use organic if making treats with it though. No chemicals! Great job Mom!
