Award, Barn Update, and I am Still Here

We have been having bad problems with the internets which leaves us spending a lot of time waiting and waiting and waiting and...
Momma has been very busy and too tired to figure out what is wrong and subsequently, we are a bit bloggy deprived.

So I am delayed in doing things like sharing this nice award I got from my pal Norwood.

But I am happy to report that work continues on the barn. Master has switched from his dorky snow suit to his dorky overalls due to it finally getting above freezing here in Master Chew Sits.

I am not allowed on the job site, but provide lots of coaching from the sidelines.

We now have four walls and the beginning of the second story!

To entertain myself, I have been practicing balancing a stuffie on my bottom whilst simultaneously slamming pee-wee into the dirt.

Amazing, huh?

Speaking of Pee-Wee, he has agreed to teach me the levitation. As you can see, I am getting good at it. I have not achieved lift off yet, but am getting very close to aire borne. I am not too proud to admit that junior has some quite amazing levitation skills. See how he hovers? I think ear placement is very important and I have managed to aerodynamically arrange my large yet velvety soft ears as instructed for maximum lift.

Oh course, when it comes to just plain looking handsome, nobody can touch me.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Your master looks like he dropped about 50 pounds just by taking off the snow suit. My muzzer wants to know how that works.

yeah, Oh Man!

omdog I hope you are getting paid for that excellent supervision, they would have never made it this far without you. Glad it is warming up there, I am sure the heat will help with levitation.

The combination of stuffie balancing and peewee slamming is quite a unique skill Mango. I will have to try it. Your barn is going up so quickly. I am sure that your master would not be able to to it with out your advice and encouragement. Good luck with the levitation.

Your friend,

You are a very handsome fellow Mango but I like you rough and tumble when you've got Pee Wee body slammed in the dirt. Good Job supervisin the barn too.

You are one handsome dude Mango!

The barn is coming on nice.

Congrats on your award.

Our mum understands the internet problems, we get them a lot and they are so annoying.

We have to have a stuffie and toy balancing contest when my Momma gets done with this crying thing and work thing and can spend some time with me.

Oh what a good job that you do with that stuffy on the back. Very good multitasking!

Hi Mango! Your barn looks great - your master sure looks happy! I love your stuffie-on-the-bottom trick. It would be awesome even without the body slamming.

See ya!

Lorenza said...

Hi, Mango!
I am sure your Master is thankful for your help!
Great bottom trick!
Kisses and hugs

wow.. I thought I felt the ground shake a bit today. It must've been from your landing. Remember somethings are just not meant to fly.. (ie. just like those dumb turkeys)

I must say you have mastered multitasking and the balance. The stuffie balancing while plummeting into peewee with such grace deserves a hand.

Now if we can only work on masters attire.

Mango, that butt beret is an interesting fashion statement. But I don't think New York is ready for it — we'll leave it at home when we all go out to the Rainbow Room. Have you told MJ yet?

That is going to be one super duper barn when Master is done with it.
Are you going to take this rising act to Vegas?

Wow are getting good at your levatatin' skills...But Dexter has some MAD levatatin' skills...just be patient..he will teach you!

& I just LOVE that pic of you clawing at the wire look like you could tear it down any second..but being the very Gentle Giant you leave it alone...

I made my mom bigafy the piccy of you staring off into space while Dexter is lounging on the couchie & I noticed that your indoor decor matches all the fur furs that just happen to fall offa your big body...very well planned by your Mistress...she is oodles smart in the fur fur incognito decor program...

You look so forlorn standing at the fence! I can't believe they don't want your help??? crazy! The barn is looking pretty awesome but I bet they would be done by now if you and your hammer could help. Maybe once you have mastered you levitation skills you can levitate over in time to help with the 2nd story.

Hi Mango
Sorry you are having internet problems - there is nothing more annoying!
The barn is just coming on great and your Master looks as pleased as punch right in the middle of it!
Now levitation is something we know about - we also use our ears for best effect.
We notice that you dont quite have the same wing span as us but you managed pretty well given your physical limitations!
We were very impressed that you could balance a stuffie at the same time - this is very impressive!

The barn is coming along great, Mango! You wouldn't want to step on a nail and have to get a shot so we think supervising from the sidelines is a very safe choice!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

hey mango! really, the fence your dad built is a piece of cake for you... i bet you can make your way towards that barn and extend a paw or two if necessary.

as for the balancing act, we are so impressed. it has to take a seriously impressive balancing power and an erm.. wide beeehind to achieve such a trick (muffled laughter)..

and oh! loving the collar there... goes to show you dont really need to wear' em leather and spikey collars to look macho.

drooly kisses,

pee-ees. can we add you up? we'd really love to get our daily doses of mango suds :)

You should be in the circus Mango! You have pawsome balancing skills :)
Big licks to you

You're doing a pawsome job of snoopervising the building of the barn, Mango! I doubt your Master could do it without your help! Keep practicing on the levitatin' should be able to master it pretty soon!

So that's how you get tool timers to come help with stuff -- set out bait on a tailgate! Mom ought to take a tip and do that to get Uncle Dennis to finish our kitchen.... she's gettin' desperate...

Have fun!

Nibbles Treats said...

Mango, just like Napoleon Dynamite you have skills!

The barn is lookin' good too!

Allison (Dog Mom) said...

Mango, you need to get extra credit--your body mass is significantly higher than peewee's. It takes a lot longer to get the levitation going that way!

Looks like lots of progress on that barn! That bottom pic of you is very cute!

The OP Pack said...

The barn is really coming along well, and Dad looks good in his spring garb.

Yes, Mango, we MAY have more snow coming. Now they are saying it could be 5-10 in. of snow or just rain - duh, what a stupid forecast.

Nice levitating lessons. Is that stuffie velcro-ed to your back?

Woos, the OP Pack

Dennis the Vizsla said...

They're obviously keeping you off the job site because they're afraid you'll show them up by single-pawdedly building the barn in ten minutes!

ocmist said...

Wait just a minute til I can get Mom calmed down so she doesn't shoot the computer... Ok, I think she'll put down the gun now... We had just typed you a long old comment and then the computer kicked us offline just as we hit the button to post!!! Believe me when I say Mom KNOWS about computer frustrations!!! We have very SLOW dial-up out here in the country and she got a bit spoiled when at her son's place.

Let's see if I can remember what all I said... I made a comment about how Handsome, smart and talented you are, and that your Dad should appreciate your help in the supervision department. That levitation trick is really cool!

Oh, yeah, and that is going to be a really cool barn for having some Pawsome Pawty's once it's done. I'm sure they are making it so that it will match your Awesome Hugeness! Love, OC
