Barn Second Floor and Practicing High Five

Sigh, our internets are still slow. We are plugged directly into the cable modem now in case somebody was stealing our wireless bandwidths but that didn't help. I guess next thing is to try a new cable modem.

I have to say that having slow internets kind of takes the joy out of blogging... too much waiting for the Mango.

Today Master invited two more tool guys to come over and help. I could tell right away that at least one of these guys might need some instructions in tool safety (where does he find these people).

It seems that the watchyacall joists are too big for Master and Rick to left by themselves. However, having observed Master "at work" I conclude that the real problem is that poor little Rick can't lift them himself.

Apparently it all worked out in the end because when Momma came home, the barn had the floor for the second story all laid down.

Meanwhile, Momma decided that learning how to shake hands was not good enough and she wants me to learn the high fives. This command is confusing for the Mango. Is she saying "talk to the hand?"

What do you think of the artfully placed slobbers on my large and shapely head?

Eventually, I'd had enough of her waving that dumb hand in my face and smacked it down. Turns out that was what she wanted all along. Who knew?

I think that's about enough of that for now.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Mango, when will you learn the fist bump?

Are all those donuts up top yours? No wonder you love the Mango Mobile.

My ma ape would like the box of Joe. But I told her you shouldn't keep the King of Stains in a box.

The humans are so weird, they want us to do the dumbest stuff sometimes?! Glad the barn is getting more work, we can't wiat to see the finished product!

Mango - don't be so modest - just tell the Master that you can handle those joists all by yourself.

And as for high fives, humans are so silly sometimes, here they spend all this time trying to get us to hit their hand with our paw and if we dare to hit them with our paw when WE want something, then we are told OFF. Go figure.

You rock Mango! You're a great supervisor, that barn will be up in no time.
I know 3 Bedlingtons that live outside Mass., wonder if they were the ones you met... the vast majority of us are really nice doggies!

Hi, Mango!
The barn is going to be finished very soon!
Here we built with bricks and concret so it takes a long time to finish everything!
Good job with your trick!

Hi Mango
You have to keep them happy with the tricks - you would think they would be pleased at how well you are supervising the barn construction. They want tricks as well!!!
Impressive shot with the slobber, you make us hounds proud.
Looking forward to seeing you in New York - hope your not too worn out for a dance. We both have you marked on our dance card - we thought perhaps the waltz might suit you best but let us know if you have a personal favourite.
lots of love

Hi, Mango...

Good job with the high five...I don't understand that one, either...She usually just gives up...

Sweet Mango of Mass a Choose its!

I am an emissary of GooberStan, here to check in with your last several posts for my hairy Stanley brudder and my girl. You are one AireMazing tooltime recruiter and overseer! I'm surprised the barn isn't already done (must be the help ~ are they slackin'?)!

I am pawticularly partial to the last photo of you from this most recent post. You look like one erudite pup... a sage... the Socrates of the pup world.

Just don't start wearing one of those togas, man!

Goobery love & kissies,
Stella

Your Master must really miss his barn cause he's wasting no time getting that new one up! Even if it is with someone questionable help...

Nicely done on the high 5's- Sometimes I question the thinking of the humans when they come up with these things. Mine keep telling me to "take a bow"

The Barn is coming along nicely. That's very quick progress ...

Did your human give you treats for the high 5s? One can only do tricks for treats!

The barn is going to be done soon! That's so cool!
Did the old barn have a 2nd story? I didn't think it was that tall. Master is going to love the barn so much he isn't going to want to come in the house!!! If there was heat and some insulation out in the shop, my Dad would never come in the house unless he was hungry.

Way to go, Mango Man! That was a great High Five... Wish Mom had a camera that took action shots, but when she tries we are just big blurs!

Mom loves your smiles and the barn is coming along great.

We do high fives around here, too, plus waves, shakes, and Dott does a beautiful levitate, though I don't have that one down. Mom says it's cause of my "chunky butt." BG
