Big Rain - Big Deal

Eduardo is still having fun even if I am not. Don't forget to visit him to see the results of my most large and thoughtful judging of the meditative pose competition and to vote for paw placement.

Here in Master Chew Sits we had BIG RAIN yesterday. Momma was locked in a windowless room in the basement for her trainings and got an email saying anybody parked in lot 1 needed to move their cars IMMEDIATELY. She ran to look out the window and lot 1 was a total swimming pool with the water over the wheels of some cars (fortunately, since she is always late for work my mastiff mobile was safely situated on the upper deck).

After work when Momma got home, she pressed the automagic garage door thing and the door only closed halfway. I could hear her in the garage all mad going WTF and pressing the button over and over. What a dope, I was trying to tell her the power was out.

And the power stayed out (for seven hours) during which time I was totally abandonded whilst Pee-Wee and Momma went off to his dumb obedience school and Master went who knows where and it was all dark and I was not happy.

Surely the flashy box works even with no power, right?

I couldn't even visit my pals!!! And Momma can't sneaky visit during work because her dumb laptop can't get the external internets in the training vault that she is trapped in all week.

Oh the horror.

Slobbers,
Mango

Poor Mango (and poor Mom, too)!

Fires, floods - its all getting rather Biblical in Mass-a-chewsits, isn't it? What's next - a squirrel invasion?

We just got a brief shower over here in the Big City. Maybe you should hop the shuttle and come on down.

Your Pal,

Petey

We are not having Big Rain here in Michigan so if you wanna come over you and the labradude can come.

We don't like nighttime with no electricity. We bark at candles. Our mommy says 'silly puppies' and then we stop.

It's not fun when the power goes out -- reminds us of Hurry Cane See Son. Not fun at all.

We're glad things are back to normal (?)

I hate blackouts, especially when it is raining or at night. If it happens in the middle of a sunny day, it can be a good excuse to stop working and go out!

We had that heavy rain yesterday too on Long Island but luckily we didn't lose power. There were loud booms though which scares the dawg poop out of my brother Ziggy.

Momma had a friend who's car must of been parked in lot one last year during a rain like that. They had to buy new cars because of it!
Sorry you were without power for so long, just more time for quiet naps.

Eeesh. Home, alone, with no e-lec-tric-ity? How can you watch teevee?!? The One Time you would have gotten the controller, for sure (since everyone else was gone), and you couldn't watch teevee?!? I would report the DOH to some authority that covers parents who force their children to stay home alone with no teevee. I hope it gets sunny for you soon! (You could always come visit - it's sunny here (finally) - you'd have to stay upstairs with the cat, but he's mellow, and you can eat his food when he's napping, which is 95% of the time!)

Your poor momma in the windowless room - our mommys office is a windowless room too - but it is only for security reasons - it has lead walls and everything. Good for napping when we go to work with her.

hope your power stay on today - and maybe you can visit some of your buddies

Poor Mango!!! All Alooooonnee! IN THE DARK! And no way to let your anipals know so we could send help! We sure hope that things are MUCH better today!

Mom says that she is so glad your Mom's car was safe and didn't get flooded, too.

We NEED some of that rain over here! We are in a drought and they are talking about having a water con-served nation where you can only water at certain times.

Mango I am so sorry you are home alone. I wanted to congratulate you for your very fair judging of the contest. I enjoyed your commentary and you even gave me a bravo. How cool is that? I wish I could come over and keep you company but ever since I read your comment about how I would fit in a spin dryer or something I am a little afraid. Still I am sorry that Mom is spending so much time with well you know Dexter dog. Did you learn any new words from her when she couldn't get the garage door open??

licks and sniffs,Sasha

None of this is good. There has to be an answer for it all, but we aren't clever enough to come up with it.

Oh, poor Mango...

When I'm left home alone, I just go into Deep Meditations (aka Sleep)...it works quite well coz before I know it, everyone is back! :-)

Hope your human comes out of that vault soon. It sounds horrible.

And hey, am really excited to hear how Pee-Wee got on at his new training class? And is he doing Agility on the same night too?

Mango your mommy is silly, did she finally figure the power was out? This sound like something my mommy would do. Aren't mommies so funny, hehehehe! We still are trying to sell our house, seems picture think our kitchen is too small but I think it is just right and big enough for my mommy to cook so very yummy foodies in! We had a couple that loved the kitchen..finally and are suppose to come back for a second look so that means I get to go for a ride again. I love when we show the house cause that means me and Sami get to go on extra car rides. I am happy that your mastif mobile was safe from the rain!

Mango, we have been slacking on our blog reading the past few days, too busy with health issues, but we wanted to congratulate you on your great judging skills. There were so many good entrants but you did a great job selecting the winner.

Hope the power loss didn't disrupt the food supply in the fridge:)
