The Relentlessly Huge has hardly moved from the cool spot under the AC fan. I tried to explain to him that the sun was kind of shining on him and Momma had turned off the AC overnight, but he was determined.
I was able to locate the window fan and position myself where all the cooler air would fall on me.
It did cool off a little last night, so I was promised a good long walkie where I could do some exploring.
First we went to the human pup playground. There were no human pups there and, frankly, the equipment was somewhat lacking, but ever since one of our dog pals got attacked at the other human playground by some rough trade doggies, momma says we can't walkie there.
They did have a nice pause table for me to practice on.
Then we walked along a very busy street that doesn't have a name, but a number which I guess makes it a highway.
There was a car dealer who had tied balloons to the cars in hopes that they would float off the lot.
The balloons looked kind of sad. I think they were out in the sun too long.
Do you see what I see???
Maybe they have a walk through.
Oh man! Even the grass smells good here!
Uh oh, we are at the dog wash. I went there with Momma ONCE and we are never going back again because I was a BAD DOG. Fine with me.
I did get to visit with the nice man who works at the dog wash. He doesn't wash doggies, so he is my friend.
We wanted to visit the fire fighters and thank them for putting out the barn fire, but I think they were all inside playing video games.
For a minute I thought this was one of Mango's relatives, but it was just a block of cement.
Easy mistake to make.
Back home I quickly scoped out the coolest spot in the yard to cool my labraself.
Holy crap! Do you see this? Is he actually, ugh, kissing me?
He must be heat stoked is all I can see. Ewwww!
I made a short movie of my walkie highlights.
Your can watch it by clicking HERE. You might think in part of the movie that I was being obedient, but actually I was just too bloody hot to do anything other than sit down.
