Before I do my post I need to tell you that Momma is returning to the windowless training bunker for another week so you might not see or hear much of us for a bit. Plus she saved her homework (that she had three weeks to do) until Dexter day to do it so I don't even know if we will catch all the weekend bloggies. Sigh.
I am happy to report that on Saturday we had a big day and lots of guests; Grandma, Grandpa, brother, sissy, brother-in-law, sissy-in-law, cousin, and, most importantly, my little nephew, Misha the cockermess.
I thought that I would freshen up before they arrived, but when I went to my favorite pee pee place I saw the Relentlessly Huge practicing one of his new pee poses and decided to seek a less public location.
Since our guests didn't arrive until 1:00 everybody was pretty hungry so I supervised the laying out of foodables.
I had everything well in hand so Misha and the RH could just relax.
Since there were too many people to eat at the table, they all ate in the living room and I was able to snag some high quality scritches.
Misha kept getting lost due to his ability to hide in small, dark places, but thanks to the magic of the flashy beast we were able to locate him via his googly eyes.
RH hung out under the AC fan and within striking distance of the table full of food.
After lunch time for some action.
It was fun to have a little normal sized dude to play with. We could do neat stuff like run around under the observation deck stairs.
Go around again! Again!
I made a movie of our activities. My cousin, Jack, is visiting all the way from South Dakota and he gave me a good time running around the yard.
You can watch it by clicking here.
I was pretty impressed by the way Misha told off the giant slobber beast. I could take some pointers from him.
Look at what a lucky dude that Misha is! He gets to sit on his mom's lap!
But it was seriously hot out (and humid) and Misha melted right on the deck. I was worried we would need a spatula to scrape him up.
Even I got tired and needed to put my belly in the grass for a bit to cool down.
WOW! That was a super fun day, but I am wiped out!
