Yesterday, in order to avoid doing her homework for as long as possible, momma decided it was time to You Thin Ice our garden given that the vegetables have not been doing well and the weeds seem to have taken over.
The only thing spared was the tomato patch which still shows the promise of yielding at least a few edible fruits.
Even Pee-Wee didn't want to eat the mutant cucumbers. They got all yellow and bloated. Yuck!
The removal of the garden fences has opened up new pastures for my industrious grazing.
The pointy headed one thought he had pulled one over on the Mango when he snagged the sole beet plant right out of the ground.
He thought wrong!
Mmmmm... fresh beet! Nom, nom, nom.
It was not until after I had consumed the most yummers beet that I realized it might dye my pee pee red thereby revealing me as the on the deck plants stealth pee pee perpetrator.
I will have to remember to wait a bit before I water the deck pots.
Much to my delight, the former cucumber patch was full of nice cool dirt that felt most refreshing to my large and overheated self.
Not to mention that there is plenty of grazing should I feel faint from hunger.
Be gone! Find your own raised bed.
This is quite comfy. If its good enough for a cucumber, its good enough for the Mango (of course I hope I don't turn yellow and bloated like those unfortunate cucumbers).
Mango Man! Oh yeah!
