Momma's Science Project and More Snow

Anybody else have mom's that like to do science projects in the cold box?

Look at that perfectly good cheese all icky now and that container has something that once was Mandarin oranges but now looks like.... EEESH!

Yesterday it snowed... again! I stayed inside with Master to watch the New England Patriots score a ridiculous number of points while Pee-Wee and momma went out in the "winter wonderland."

I guess they wanted to check out the Halloween decorations. This one is kind of nice.

But these things FREAK ME OUT! I would have gone mental cracker dog if I saw it for sure. You can observe that even Pee-Wee is not clear about whether to fight or flee.

Humph, guess he had a hidden agenda to meet up with his little Shiba Inu girlfriend. He is like totally insane crazy in love with her and cries whenever he walks past her house. She cries too. Can't imagine why. They must fancy themselves some sort of Romeo and Juliet, separated by Rt. 30.

Rt. 30 is a very scary street and little Coco ran across it once and got hit by a car and had pins and needles in her and was really sick, but now she is all better and ready for action.

What's that? Must go out and pee? Oh, sigh, if I must, but I'm coming right back in, you betcha.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Uh Mango-you gonna eat that experiment?

You can get back to me on that whenever you get a chance. No hurry. Just don't let it sit on the counter-wouldn't want it to spoil.

Yup, Mango - my human must be in the same class as your Momma coz we often have those science projects too...well, at least, Paul insists they are science projects whereas Hsin-Yi insists that they are still fine and should go in tonight's dinner! :-)

Eric said...

Yeah we have science experiments in Square Red Dog House not only in the fridge we try for cupboards too.

Everyone here eats Mom's science projects before they can become fuzzy, and they share with me. I do not like the white stuff, either, so my smallest boy and I cheered wildly for the Patriots. My smallest boy is a terrific fan.

Mango, I have been away taking care of Mommy and have missed much. You have snow??? Wow. You would go cracker dog for sure in our yard and neighborhood with the Halloween stuff. I like Mommies science experiment. Is she trying to make a cool Christmas decoration?

Dexter's in love? And not with me?

(Lacie twirls a lock of her fur thoughtfully and none to happily....) I'm gonna hafta investigate this situation by another visit to the Estate...

Those horrid decorations terrify Stan and Scruffy, but they're stoopid....(course they ranked higher than the # 62 Lakeland on the canine smartie scale...wonder why they can't figure out a scarecrow isn't like real????)

As for those science projects...we get most of 'em in our veggie/salad drawer...yeesch...

Samantha said...

Whoa! Even I'd eat that cheese and those oranges (?) hehehee! But I'd woof my nose off at that pumpkinhead thinger. Scaa-rry. Must be cold there. Looks like white dots coming down - sorry you gotta pee in that.

Sam said...

Marge doesn't like Halloween decorations much either. They blow in the wind and they stand upright and then all of a sudden they plop down when someone turns the power off. Scary stuff!

Hi Mango
Yesterday was a good day to watch the game. Your momma has turned into some crazed scientist... making some spooky pumpkin growing mold goo then placing it on neighbors yards to create supersized demonic pumpkins. We figured it out...

I heard about that rte 30 love story. I didn't know it was PEEWEE>

Euri said...

That's one big pumpkin! We don't get much snow in Houston but we did have flurries last year. I hope you enjoy the cooler weather.

Dory and the Mama said...

Ummm Mango...Mama is thinking maybe you are a little dog in a big RH dog body....That's not true is it???

TwoSpecialWires said...

We know about science projects. But ours sometimes become unidentified. Doesn't the scientific process assume good documentation? Moma forgets that part. And as for those orange faces! We've got one sitting on our mantel this year. Inside. Staring at the wall right now, but will soon be staring down on our beds. How's a dog sposed to sleep with a face looking atcha the whole time? And, finally. Moma was trying to pick white flecks off the pooter monitor, then she realized it was snowflakes falling on you! Get inside where it's warm, Mango Man!

Love ya

We is gonna stop complainin' 'bout the weather around here if you's already has the snow! We ain't had the sun fur a while but so far no snow - at least not fur days and days ago! WOWZA!

Did you get to roll in that science project?!

We're kinda leery of those blow-up Halloween decorations too, Mango! When it's windy out they're scary!

I'm glad my Momma isn't the only ones to do the science projects. Sometimes she is so scared by her creations she throws the whole container out. Dexter, your girlfriend is sure pretty :)

We'd be really scared of those freaky big orange things!! We're lucky we walk on our farm and don't have to see any of them.

Our Mom makes science projects all the time - Moms must really be experimental.

oh! we love the romeo and juliet story of Dexter and the shiba inu! perhaps you are just a tad jealous Mango? i know you haven't been lucky in love these days givin your gastro-intestinal state.
my human says she thinks i do indeed have to get my coat groomed down ---i am nothing but one big dread lock right now and going to the dog show was just plain embarassing. i know, i know--but it is not my choice...

Burr! That little bit of frost on the ground looks downright frigid to this Texan! However, I think walking around the neighborhood to look at seasonal decorations is very fun and looks like you missed out on some good stuff Mango Man!

monica said...

ref interesting science projects from the fridge: when my human mom is uncertain a project is OK to eat or not, she gives the cat a taste,'cause if the cat says OK then it IS ok. HM. I'm not an option she says, 'cause I'll eat anything... AND WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?? Mango, you and I we would totally bond !! Groans from Bundy in DK !

Scout 'n Freyja said...

Mango, we forgot to mention that your momma isn't the only one who does science in the fridge. There are millions of inventive folks our in the world who continually explore their scientific boundaries through furry things growing in Tupperware. Things that were once known to mankind but have now morphed into something strange and beguiling!

If PeeWee is gonna be a monkey what are you gonna be you big, slobbering handsome man-dog☺

BRUTUS said...

Yuck - I think that stuff from the fridge was scarier than any halloween decoration! When this happens in our house, we call it "former food". Mom is especially good at doing it with bread in the pantry - we always marvel at all the pretty colors and shapes that mold can grow in. The only thing better is a travel coffee mug that dad has been known to let sit in office for a few weeks - we've thrown several away rather than chipping the fur out of them!

We have those science projects, too. I told her that growing her own penicillin will not keep away the swine flu but she never listens.

Of course, I'd still probably eat the cheese even if it was a science project.
