Constructions and Bitey Face on a Rainy Day

Yesterday was pretty rainy, so not too much to do around the estate.

Master started the day by carting off the door to the dog cave. I think he needed firewood to keep the barn warm. I hope that he doesn't start to dismantle our estate one piece of wood at a time.

What are you doing, Master, need any help?

Huh? What's up with this? He replaced the door to my dog cave with some sort of half door contraption. Why do you suppose he would do that?

Meanwhile, I was just kind of settling in for a nice meditation in the dog cave.

Momma took this photo of my hiney for reasons known only to her. Something about my "cute leggie."

Even the Mango can only meditate for so long (20 hours per day is about my limit) and so I began to grow bored with all this inside stuff and gave PeeWee the universal playtime signal of biting my own leg.

Come on, little dude, let's have some fun.

Sometimes he needs convincing to play so I put him in a head lock and bite his face.

Hello? Time for fun!

Now we have a game on! AR AR AR! I have to admit I am proud of those brave little fierce faces he makes. Of course they do not compare to mine for total intimidation factor, but it is a great approximation.

I am not supposed to play run around bitey face inside the house due to my propensity to knock things over and slide around on the non carpeted floors, but it is possible to have fun without ever actually standing up.

Here is a short movie version. Please excuse bad lighting and decrepit background. Its not called the dog CAVE for nothing. Hope you have a great weekend!

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

I have to figure out a way to teach Meja to play with me so I never have to get up. Genious!!

What a great video! I like the way your foot went THUMP when you slapped it against the floor. You sure know how to have some fun without expending a whole lot of energy. :)

Excellent bitey face games! Of course your fierce expressions are the best. There is always something going on at your estate. I like that door. You could stand up, put your big front paws on the ledge and look over it.

Our first visit to your blog. What fun! My 3 poodles got into the Mango action! During the clip their ears perked up and they were looking to get into the action! Although they roam anywhere they wish in the house they told me they wish they had their own deluxe dog cave like Mango & Dexter!

Great bitey face action, Mango! And you do it all without standing up - you are quite the amazing RH!!! I can really tell how large you are compared to Dexter in this particular movie - wowzers!!! And I like your new half door - I think I'd like a dog cave like yours!

Awww! what a great BITEY FACE MOVIE!! ARRRR ARRR ARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

My little Cublet PeeWee is sure maturing in the making of nasty & mean faces! Way to go little man!

I think that half door is something like a drive through window...you jump up & put your hands on the little ledge - ring the bell (have master install one if there isn't one there already) & then tell Momma & Master your food order...seems like it would work great!

Love & Licks,
Randi

Can we come play w/ you two?
We have a half door on our dog cave too. We suspect it's so the peeps can keep an eye on us!

Mango! I would so love to bitey face with you. Just so you know, if I came to live with you, I would like you better than your pee wee brother. Not that I'm coming to live with you or anything, but I would. Just so you know.

Thanks for worrying about my flat brother. My is all freaking out because if he needs back surgery, she doesn't know how we will deal with him, living on the third floor and all. I told her this city life sucks.

So, just for the record, my bags are packed and I'm really quiet and will just lay around and look beautiful all the time. I might dig a hole occasionally and shed a bit, but other than that, I would make the perfect addition to your estate.

Hi Mango - great video, bitey face ROCKS. We get fed up with our humans having to explain the noises we make when we play bitey face outside - did you know there are some dumb humans who think us doggies should never play loud or rough?! We know - go figure!! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

Bitey face looks a bit more dangerous at your estate than it does out ours. Although those snarling Scottie teeth can be most hurtful - just ask Mom who has had her arm or leg in the wrong place at the wrong time.

After 20 hours of meditation, there is nothing quite like a game of bitey face to get a party started. I like your 1/2 door Mango, very cool!

You guys are just too cute for words! That is exactly the game that Mitzy (grand-dog) played with her doggy cousins when she was up here in the north for Thanksgiving.

We're still in awe over your size Mango! We play like that too all the time. Mom calls it alligator play because of how our mouths look.

Wish we had a dog cave to call our own...

Great Bitey Face Fun, and such little exertion required:) When we get wild in the house, Mom throws us outside - same problem with breaking things and sliding on floors. She can never understand why we aren't still wild when we go outside.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Hello Your Hugeness!
Your blog is so much fun. You and the Labradude have a lot of great adventures. I'm still stuck in doggie jail studying the criminal element like I mentioned in my adoption report. I'm here while my handler Mom and Dad are visiting my cousin Frankie Furter. Meanwhile I'm enjoying reading all of these great stories. Keep 'em coming!

More pix of the Mango Hiney! I love the zoom in on the hiney in the vid... classic doggie porn. ;)

I also dig how fuel-efficient The Mango is at having fun. Low-cal wrestling. wrestling w/o moving more than 1/4 of the body. classic. kinda what L & J do when they get bored inside.

You know Mango, if I were there, you would not need to chew your leg out of boredom. You would not need to put your sweet paw on mine to ask me to play. You would not need to gently nibble on my entire head to convince me to play. Because......seeing your sexy butt and masculine leggies would be enough for me to show you my wiggle muscle butt...*blushing*..

Have a great sexy Thanksgiving weekend!

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade

Mango, you must be a physicist, you are minimizing your potential energy!

Good job also helping Master with his work. I'm like that too - if there is a man doing manly work I have to help. Even if that means I'm like that guy standing there, saying, "Hmmm. You're going to do WHAT?"

I like how Dexter paused to hack something up there in the middle. I dunno why you only got half a door back, that doesn't really seem fair to me.

Getting you to step into boxes and installing half doors.... Hmm.. Are you sure they aren't training you for the circus? Inside-bitey-face seems to work, although I doubt it is quite as satisfying as full-contact outdoor bitey-face!
