Our hearts are heavy.
We also got some good news in that Tommy's sister, Tama-Chan had her kittens. They are very little and Tama-Chan is still not feeling well, so they could use a visit.
To cheer myself up, I thought a nice walkie was just the ticket.
The holiday soldiers are out on our village green. Wouldn't this make a great DWB card exchange picture? Too bad certain Relentlessly Huge Beasties would FREAK if they ever saw this guy in person (not do a nice sit / stay like me). Oh well.
We had a super walkie! Momma set a nice brisk pace and I showed off my best good dog attentions and we were so busy that we hardly had time for photos.
I found a beer can on a bench and was supposed to pose with it, but I don't want any doggies getting ideas that I would drink this stuff. I am a Sam Adams kind of guy.
My attentions flagged when I noticed that the local merchants had their doors open.
The ladies in the beauty salon usually wave to me, but I am not allowed to go inside.
I was certain this was a dog store given the array of stuffies, but momma pulled on my tether and told me that it was really some fancy pants boutique that did not want any doggies inside (well then why is the door open with all those toys on the floor).
The ice cream parlor is still open for business (weather permitting). Once again, no dogs allowed (such a cold hearted place I live), but I was able to find some crumbs and dribbles on their picnic tables.
Back home and working on my muscle dog pose. What do you think ladies?
When we were driving home from agilities this morning, Momma said we had to make a stop. Fine. I was kind of tired anyway.
But then she shoved a tree into the back of the car!
Do I look happy about it?
I was squished the whole way home. Like trying to ride with the RH back there. What was she thinking?
P.S. Here is a movie that has no dogs in it (well, one brief appearance at the end) but it is so happy making that I wanted to post it.
