You see, prior to starting her vacation, Momma made a list of all the things she wanted to accomplish.
Make strategic purchases
Work on dog's manners
De-clutter kitchen and bathroom cabinets
Empty, fumigate, and rearrange dog cave
Teach dogs new tricks
BORING! So while she was otherwise occupied, I craftily snuck on to the computer and modified the list to something more befitting an extended stay home.
Eat whatever you jolly well feel like and be sure to share with dogs
Read and watch MI-5 Season 5 on DVD (while Dexter and Mango enjoy chewies)
Shop online sales with great abandon (don't forget the dog stores)
Play tennis ball (weather permitting)
Walkies (weather inconsequential)
Wrestle on living room floor with doggies
Use dog cave exclusively for blogging, shopping, and snuggling with Mango
Nap (but only when dogs are napping, otherwise choose from activities above)
Get Dexter a puppy
I am happy to report that Momma accomplished (almost) all of the things on the revised list (yeah, I suppose the puppy was kind of a long shot) and NONE of the boring things on her original list. I consider that a job well done.
After my tutoring I passed the daycare entrance exam with flying colors and I've been going one day every week (I would go more often, but Momma says that the Relentlessly Huge gets quite despondent when I am gone).
This week, it was very very cold and so we had daycare inside and only went out to do our business.
So here I am with all my pals having fun (that's me in the middle of the pack - note that no doggie is humping me).
That's spray bottle lady walking around. She likes to shoot water at doggies who misbehave.
Of course I think a shot of water in the face is one of life's great joys.
Come on, lady, shoot me, I've been a bad bad doggie. Hehehe.
The inside playground has a nice view of the outside for any dogs who are so inclined.
Some doggies were afraid of this pretty girl because she is big and sloppy. Not me! You call that dog big? Please!
Daycare is not all fun and games. We have our own exercise instructor who makes sure we practice our doga so as not to pull any muscles.
You can see that the big dog hasn't moved a whisker.
Kind of reminds me of how somebody else "plays."
This is a hairy flat dog called a Bore Soy. Kind of like a furry Bunny.
You don't see too many of them. He runs really fast!
The yellow dog with the fluffy tail is Honey. She lives with a lady that works with my momma. She is part hound dog and prone to sleepiness. In fact she was in the nap room most of the afternoon, but she got out of bed for one last romp.
I am sniffing her bum. Why not?
Hey! Louie, Gus, and Callie! Look at me! I am herding the yellow dogs.
Get along little doggies!
There's spray bottle lady again. We all usually go over to check her out when she comes in because she tells us when our moms and dads are ready to pick us up.
Super googly eyed action. Bet you can't tell which doggie is me.
Oh! Hey! Momma!
I didn't even see you over there.
Is it time to go home already?
