In Which I Experience a Bit of Snow Madness

I convinced Momma to start a bloggy dedicated exclusively to Mango Minster 2010! Make sure you add it to your google reader as I will be posting all the Mango Minster happenings there.

Also, for those of you wondering what kind of photo to use, you can review Mango Minster 2009 on that bloggy to see what was sent last year. If you can't decide, run your own contest to get your readers to help you choose. When you enter, please include any comments you would like to add regarding why you are the best doggie in your group.

Just a reminder that I might be using that "Mark all as Read" button in my google reader for a while. So don't feel sad if you don't always hear from me. I am most busy making.

Yesterday morning I woke up to discover that yet again we had received snow. Uck.

I sent Momma out to clear my potty paths whilst I amused myself by biting PeeWee.

OK, coast is clear. It is safe for me now.

Normally I am not much of a fun in the snow and cold kind of guy.

But for reasons which I do not fully understand, I found the little squirt's joie de vivre curiously contageous.

Before I knew it, I was bouncing about and flinging my large and graceful self through the snow with glee!

Watch this movie if you don't believe me.

My head was spinning from all the excitement. Oh my! What a rush that was.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

I take my boys to frolic in the snow, then Momma fusses and wipes the snow off me when I come inside. The boys get hot chocolate, but they assure me Mastiffs don't like hot chocolate. (Do they? Does your Momma give you hot chocolate?)

That certainly looks like a lot of fun Mango. It looks like it was still snowing. Did mom have to go out and make you another path later on?

What a very good idea about the separate blog! That will contain the madness so to speak! The snow madness is definitely contagious, did you see Sophie? Plus, although we don't have snow, Moose has gone cold crazed as I call it because it is in the low 40s here!He is running around like some whippersnapper labradork!

I wish it was warm enough for us to go out and play in the snow! So far I'm just admiring it from the window and freezing my little tookus off when I go out for potty breaks!

Mango, you don't know what a head rush it was thinking of your frolicking in the snow - all of your Mango-ness filled with glee!

Ashley (the mom), Dixie (the Catahoula) and sometimes Lola (the Pit Bull) said...

Mango, I know exactly how you feel! Before our most recent (and very unexpected) snow Mom couldn't get me out of the house for snow except for a quick potty. Now that I have a crazy younger snow loving sibling, I found myself playing before I even knew what was happening! And, to add insult to injury, Mom documented the entire thing!

Mango, it is hard to believe you are not a cold and snow kind of guy - you had so much fun there. But how could you not have fun with a pup as spirited as Pee Wee? We have more snow and even colder temps coming in the next several days. Hope we don't send it your way.

Wooos Mango Man! If woo aren't careful woo could be mistaken for a large labra-dude there.. I know sometimes even the most dignified of us get the playtime zoomies sometimes. I see woo are acquiring a bunch of new girlfriends while I was gone. You are one handsome dude there in that snow!

Mom took me and Zim for a walk this morning in the snow when it was 5 degrees out. Then she walked the girls. Then me and Zim wanted to go again. Zim gave her "that look" - and she caved. She even let him work on one of his cool snow forts. I think he's got that joie de vivre thing - and it's contagious!

You almost ZOOMED so fast the camera missed you. almost. You guys need to shovel all the snow to the end of the yard by the barn and then jump off the steps. well, dexter should, and maybe hector...Mango, you can watch.

I thought that all of your doggies pretty much like the snow. Even your photos show you playing outside in it, you don't even look cold or wet. Very smart of you to stay inside while your mommie clears out a path for you to walk in. The mom here had a doggie way back and she would do the same. Don't forget to tell your mom to clear off a large area for you to . . . well . . . you know . . . when you have to outside. That way your little butt won't get wet either.
