In lieu of letting stupid PeeWee post I am being forced against my will to provide a link for yet another ode to the black lab. This time by some gal named Sophie who has entered the labradork contest.
Loyal readers know that the Mango is not always keen for walkies, especially when they involve seeing strange humans and whatnot so I am going to show you how confident I have become lately thanks to good advice from my doggie pals and lots of hard work by my large and always wanting to improve myself self.
So as is my wont, I decided to stroll up to the Monty Sorry skool and see what all the commotion of late was about.
Big construction! The Mango is intrigued.
Now, I will tell you that first of all, nervous people make ME nervous. Yuh, people who are all like,
"EEEE Big dog! Scary!" And then they stare at me which makes ME nervous and I am all, "EEEE scary human looking me dead in the eye and sending off bad vibes."
And sometimes when that happens, I go AR AR AR because I am scared and nervous and then momma gets mad and stressy and then I get stressy and then, oh ick!
But I LOVE construction guys. In fact when I had my big jailbreak adventure last summer, Master found me at a construction site two whole miles away from home all watching the action. Maybe it is because most of my estate visitors are tool time pals of Master because when I see a guy in scruffy jeans and work boots I am so happy.
This tool time guy was smart enough to ask first if he could meet me rather than walking up to me. It is much less scary for me to decide whom to great than to have people just walk up into my face!
And most humans don't know how to great a doggie anyway. Like patting on the top of the head can be scary and threatening, but under the chin feels good. People also like to stick their faces right in mine! How rude! I wouldn't do that to them! But this guy was totally cool.
He told me he has a doggie just like me at home! Wow! How cool is that? He knew just how to bobble my head and pinch my cheeks.
That's the end of my story, but for any of you doggies who are sometimes called "reactive" or "ruffians" you will know how proud momma was of me. I even strolled with momma and tool time guy down the street for a bit and we chatted about slobbers and whatnot. It was great.
Mango Man! Oh yeah!
P.S. I almost forgot! Momma made a REALLY SHORT movie because she was more nervous than I was. Readers with keen ears can hear a little edge to her voice when she says, "let's go." I think she needs training in CHILLING OUT! Watch the movie here. Holy crap! I sure am far behind in reading bloggies. Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend.
