Special Walkie Movie for Miss Tula

I fear that my momma conspired with Tula's mom for both of us to skip skool today. Now, normally my momma is all full of promises of happy fun times when she makes such statements but those empty words typically result in her doing "stuff" which does not include ME!

So today, I made her promise TM that I would have good times and NO boring chores or whatnot.

We can begin (as soon as I finish my morning doga).

We have actual video proof that I did, indeed, get special Mango time. The result is the longest movie I have ever posted (5 minutes). However, thanks to momma's award winning (albeit slightly nasal) commentary, stellar cinematography, and the fact that I, Mango, am in each and every frame, I am hoping that you will be glued to your seat throughout and the time will fly by (plus the end has exciting tennis ball action in which I RUN).

I give you the Mango Walkie Movie! This one if for you, Tula!

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

A most excellent movie. We enjoyed your (still snotty) Momma's commentary. Especially her imitation of dogs-off-leash-owners. "Duh."

We were disturbed, however, that the suggested list of YouTube videos included several entitled "How to Cut a Mango." Yikes!

We especially enjoyed the fact that this was a Pee Wee free movie! Full of Mango goodness throughout!

Have a great weekend! Your cat friends, Ray and Buzz

Did we hears yer momma say perambulate? Is she tryin to teach you a foreign language too?

There really is so much a Mango can take!

Riveting! We are so impressed with your excellent behavior on walks. Ambrose was particularly entranced with your momma's voice and wants Barbara to get some of those cold cooties so that she will sound like your momma.

We too were shocked to see "How to cut a Mango" as a featured video in the sidebar next to your walkies movie. We did not look at it as we thought it would be too graphic and upsetting. Hope you are ok.

Your friends,
Niamh & Ambrose

Great walkie time, Mango. Your Momma loves you so much and you rewarded her with a great stroll. We are still trying to figure out who needed the rest more at the hydrant, you or Momma - BOL.

Mango, I enjoyed watching your walky film very much as I always enjoy your videos. I was a little distressed however when it was done and I looked on the side bar for other Mango movies and there were several movies on "how to cut a mango". As you can imagine, I was terrified. Who would want to cut Mango. Mommy explained it to me, and now I feel better. Just to be safe though, please watch your back.

Excellent walking, Mango! We saw no evidence of pulling-momma's-arm-out-of-the-socket haste or lack of attentions. You earned your treats for the day. We like sweet Pea, too, though.

Oh Mango, Eva and I really enjoyed your Mango Walkie movie. You're an excellent actor, a great movie star who is so calm and sweet. I can foresee we might see you in the coming Oscar.

I love you having your own sweet time on the deck, so mangoish!!!

I think you did a great job on your walkie! You definitely don't pull like I do, which is why mom leaves my walking up to dad.

Nice ball playing too! Loved your suning too!

Mom has enough of a problem controlling a leashed 70# dog when he wants to meet the other doggie. We can't even begin to imagine 250#! Holy crap!
We TOTALLY enjoyed your movie, Mango!

Love ya lots

That was a great Mango walk :) Y'all went a long way! Mom can't imagine managing a walk with a 230 lb. dog on the end of a leash (even two leashes). She says I'm like walking a stallion when I see (or think I see) something exciting like a cat, squirrel, another dog, etc. As I rear up and put all of my muscules into trying to get to what I think is far more interesting than Mom ;)
Hence, the sporn halter on most walks.

Bettin Mango sounds more like a pony than I do when he runs :)

Waggin at ya buddy,

wow... you did a great job mango. I'm even impressed with your 30 secs of jogging! I must say he does look like a shackled prisoners out on community clean up with all those gadgets. just sayin norwood

You were one happy Bubba by the end of that video! And did your momma say sports bra? Very interesting...

The Boston Lady said...

Mango, I am most intrigued by your sports bra. Our small beasts similar ones and they are excellent anti-tug devices. I heard your momma say that you were 230 lbs of fun. The black and whites and I saw a 280 lbs Mango-wannabe at the dog park a couple of weeks ago. He was certainly not the hardbody that you are. Hope you get to lay in the sun a lot this week! TBL

violett said...

Hello my friend Mango! I have looked your video. You are a good stroller and jogger. Mummy had to translate problems the voice of your mummy. But we have understood something.
Lots of love

Fiona, as typed by Dr. Liz said...

Boy, talk about making one dizzy! The car race video is much less dizzy-making... ;-) Seriously, how many leashes do you have to have on you when you walk? We saw one on the pinchy collar thingy, and one on a super-sized sports bra' do you have a leash on your hind quarters, too? Anyhoo, we were Most Impressed that you actually walk and don't just lay around in the sun ALL DAY! :-)

Oh Mango Man, you are so cool. Gives my Mum inspiration. She thinks your Momma is totally right. People with dogs off lead and racing toward you gives my Mum the stressies, thats for sure. I am a great dane who isn't too keen on other dogs so can totally relate to you on that one. Looked like you had a great walk that day. Keep on walking big fella. Slobbers, Bruce.

Oh my...that interestate walkway would be difficult for NON reactive dogs. I can totally understand that. and the how you feel about the dorks who don't use a leash for naughty dogs. duh.

if it were me and i had mango on a leash and their dog caused trouble, dude i'd totally let mango go balls out on the doggie! ;)

but seriously... i'd be proud and it think you are. you're going at both your own paces and that's great for your relationship and happiness!
