OK, don't freak out because I am not really hurt too bad. But I have a very sore leggie which has curtailed my mastiff fun times and worried momma. Sigh. I am not sure what is wrong, but it hurts to put my large and not built to walk on three leggies self upright on my leggie.
Getting up and down the stairs to the yard is the hardest part. I fell down once, but I am very brave and refuse to let anybody help me. Momma always holds her breath because she says I go down like an aircraft carrier. I do indulge her a bit going up and let her hoist my back end.
As you can see, once I am on level ground, I can hobble about and my hiney looks nice and square.
Of course there isn't much to do that doesn't involve walking and moving. Thanks goodness I have at least one activity that I can enjoy lying down. It isn't easy for a full sized doggie to have a sore leg. Not like I can walk around on three legs. Just not built for it.
I was totally pissed when I discovered that Momma took PeeWee to Good Citizen skool in my place. He is no way a good citizen and doesn't deserve to consume my stash of hot dogs.
Look at him all smirking and sending me a digital neener neener. And you can see in the far right hand corner my girlfriend Greta the dobie who sings a duet with me at skool. I understand she was not in full voice without me to harmonize.
Can't imagine what wore him out so much. All he did was stays and recalls. Oh yeah, and he totally failed the greet somebody else walking their dog exercise. Seems he just couldn't keep his labrabutt on the ground. Humph.
For now, I am taking some medicines called Tramadol and getting lots of rest. Momma can't detect any especially sore spots, swelling, or odd angles. She says I am a little better but I still cry sometimes. That's really just a trick of mine to get cuddles which are the best medicine of all.
Momma made a little video to show you that I am not really badly off and also for all you armchair clinicians to diagnose. You can watch it here.
Mango Man! Oh yeah!
