Blogaversary Quiz Answers Revealed!

For those of you suffering from short term memory issues, last week I gave you clues about events that happened during my three years of blogging.

Ready for the big reveal?

2008
What event added significant space for my evening meditations?

Well, some dude with a really big saw came and cut the wall off the side of our house.

Then Master did a bunch of constructions.

And voila! The doggie annex on our living room. Sweet.

2009
What event put our estate on the front page of the local paper?

Master's barn burned down. Ruh roh!

But he built a new one lickity split.

I hear the view from the second floor is magnificent.

I'll leave that daredevil stuff to PeeWee, thank you very much.

2010
If you guessed that a travesty was performed on my manly dog cave, then you are correct. What was once a haven of peeling brown wallpaper, cracked plaster, and simple, yet tasteful curtains...

Got turned into Barbie's dream house! Oh ick!

As for the bonus question, well, recent photos are not terribly helpful. It appears that Master has been messing about with his wet saw and putting up random walls.

Along with this curious enclosure. I actually kind of like the wall finish, much better than purple paint. But momma says to stay tuned because Master still spends most of his time down in the basement and there will be a sparkling new space that you will not believe. Whatever.

Who won? Who won? None other than the house of cats and a dog. Yuh, and they even reminded me of one more total funballs thing that happened in 2009. A visit from the gang of dotty old hens to my estate. Read about it here.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

P.S. Don't forget, January 9th is the big day. Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Woo!! Congrats to them.

Sounds like your house has been through a LOT during the years with all the renovating and burning down and renovating!

I think your room is great! The wall colour is pretty and matches with the colour of your doggie bed!

Oh no - is this going to be a full-sized bathtub for you, Mango, with Mango bubblebath and the whole bit? Horrors!

Love ya lots

We never had a chance over here in dirtville. Even being hit with a clue by 4 would not have helped.

Congratulations to the winners!

Stumpy is getting ready to head out of town for another extended adventure. I sure hope we can keep up with Mangominster!

Happy tails, FUREVER!

We didn't know you when they cut that hole in the side of your house - you have quite the destructive/constructive Dad there:) But beware of that basement - we see the makings of a Mango bath - unless there are plans to make it into a Mango Spa.

I guess I missed the original post during my recent incapacitation, but congratulations to the winners. I've only been around for the Mango Cave transformation so I wouldn't have known all the others. That new project looks most interesting. Your folks sure do keep busy, don't they?

A new bathroom, how nice, and all of us here love the color. The girls are very fond of your Barbie Doll room, and don't understand why you have a problem with it, no matter how much us guys try to explain it to them. Maybe it has something to do with the fact our whole house has Barbie Doll touches. (Sigh) at least most of the walls are blue.

Mommy envies all the space you have. We kinda think Daddy may be doing his own remodeling soon.

And we are tickled pink about winning. Thanks again, ~AFSS

Hi Mango Minster, nice blog. I enjoyed watching all the renovations your people do. Sorry about the barn burning, but the new one looks really good. The barbie room looks great too--sorry you don't like it too much, but it really looks cozy.

Paws and hugs.

That basement room looks like trouble to us. Our Mom had a bathtub put in the garage for us. Now we don't even get the chance to carry the mud inside to the carpet. She catches us at the door.

We can't wait for the big announcement.

I didn't know you when the barn burned down, but I remember the awesome constructions and all of your hard work supervising Jarred and those other dudes who claimed to be working even when you were not around! I think Master might be building another wet room to torture you and pee wee! Watch out!

Y'all like to do lots of un-building and building, don't you? We wish Grandpa would do more home improvement projects around here instead of just telling us he's going to do them.

We can't wait for the big day!

Heh. Master is clearly much handier with the tools than our Dad. We didn't know about the ripping off part of your house in 2008, so we we're in the running, but I'm impressed with your ability to put up with the booming and bangings that accompany building (and unbuilding) of things. I hate it, personally.

We're SUPER excited for MangoMinster!!!

Hi Mango, great contest. Your barn burning down must have been exciting/scary. What I don't understand is why someone, two people or half a dozen people haven't offered to carry you upstairs to check out the view on the new barn. Maybe the master could instal an elevator for you or even escalators. Its not too much to ask is it? No worries, love Carol

The winners really deserved to win!!! Congrats!

So sorry about the barn but the "master" seems very handy. He must be a genius at building things lickety split!

Mango - you won't go up to the 2nd floor? I'm shocked... At least Dexter can tell you about it.

well hey, I just showed up on the scene. How is everybody? My parents are about to rip up our kitchen for a renovation. Do you think anyone stopped to ponder where my food bowl will go not only when that ugly rare porkloin tile comes up but when the kitchen is done? I have needs man...

Can't wait to read all about you in old posts.

Happy winning something to someone.

We swore we knew all the event going on in the HOUSE OF PEE/MAN but obviously, NOT. But pawsonally, I suggest you send me, Lacie the prize anyway, especially if it has anything to do with nails or skin care.

Mumsie couldn't believe the before and after pix of the purple room. Um, MY room. We had no idea how much work was done...

And the boyz and I enjoyed the pix of the Dotty Old Hens...what a bootiful day that was...Mumsie looked so stoopid in that towel. The flat Lacie looked georgous as always, I'm just sayin'.

Frankly, I think you starrin' in the Nutcracker shoulda been here somehow...that was noteworthy. Or something.

Perhaps that's what's wrong with your sore leggie? An old ballet injury?

Kisses, dear...

Hiya Mr. Mango,

Charlie and I would like to thank you very much for coming over to us and wishing us well during our difficult time, it really means a lot!

Before I decided on adopting Emma, my number two dog was a HUGE Pittie named . . . MANGO! Only she wasn't as big as you, I promise. I heard that she finally got a home a few months ago, so yay for Mango!

New guess on the basement constructions: is Master hurrying to complete an awards venue for the presentation of the Mango Minster 2011 awards? Don't forget the red carpet. [The DOH Convention suggested this possibility.]
