Happy New Year to everybody! And guess what? It's not just the new year, it is also my blogaversary! Hooray for ME!
That's right! It was three years ago today that the Mango entered blogland. Yuh, check it out, here is a link to my very first post ever.
I am so happy that I started blogging because I have made lots of pals, learned about stuff, and it has also gone a long way to helping momma keep from going mentals.
And look! My first YouTube! I LOVE this movie because it has Beautiful Raja and Grandpa Angus and, of course, baby ME!
So, how to celebrate? Well, I wanted to tell you about EVERYTHING that has happened in three years, but momma said I had to choose just one thing that was the most memorable part of each year. Huh?
Well, my brain like to burst doing that, so I compromised.
I will tell you about one thing that happened that was really special each year, then I will give you a clue about something else that happened in that same year. The first doggie or kitteh to guess all three events correctly will get MY voice on their home answering machine. No, wait, wrong contest....
The very first correct guess will get a fabulous prize! How cool is that?
The year of the PeeWee. Yup. I am Relentlessly Huge enough to admit that after Beautiful Raja and Grandpa Angus crossed over the bridge just one year apart I was a very sad doggie. I was so lonely, I just moped around and hardly moved or played at all. Then came the Pea and I will tell you a secret. I really like the little dude. Come on, admit it, he is kind of cute in a black rock eating tennis ball chasing doofus head kind of way.
Just about the biggest, bested doggie show ever makes its debut.
Started as a snub to that Westminster thing, it turned out to be much bigger than I could have imagined. What a fun event and a great way to make new friends.
The 2010 show rocked! Stay tuned for MM 2011 for sure.
And here we are. What stands out for me is finally going back to school and learning cool tricks and being able to go walkies again thanks to paying attention to the etiquette portion of my trainings. Best of all, I got to hang out with TULA at class. Hubba hubba!
(Sadly I am currently on sabbatical but I hope to return to school soon).
Now, are you ready for your quiz? I will give you one big clue, OK?
Each item involves constructions... something which is never ending at the mango estate.
What happened in 2008 resulting in significantly more space at the estate in which to enjoy my meditations whilst Momma and Master watch endless reruns of the Sopranos?
What big event put my estate on the front page of the local newspaper?
What heretofore most manly part of the estate received an unfortunate facelift?
Can somebody please tell me what is going on in my basement (a forbidding place into which I, Mango, have never ventured).
You have one week to leave your answers in the comments section. Remember, the FIRST doggie or kitteh to get all three right wins! Not familiar with these moments of note? Just read my blog from beginning to end. Go ahead. You have a week. I'll wait.
Mango Man! Oh yeah!
P.S. The DOH seems to believe that being on vacation includes neglecting my pals. We'll set that to rights over the weekend for sure.
