The Pea, the Snow, the Egg, and Joe Stains

Item #1
The Pea is already feeling TONS better after taking his antibiotics for the Lyme. Don't worry, I will make sure he takes them as prescribed for the full 21 days. But here is a short movie to prove that the spring in his step is back and he has even been pestering momma for tennis ball action, but she told him he needs to take it easy for another day.

Item #2
The big snow is almost gone. Hooray! This is due in no small part to my expert and ingenious snow removal services. Let's zoom in on the photo below to see how it works, shall we?

Yes, I, Mango have been strategically applying my large and generating most potent farts bottom on the snow causing huge melting to take place.

Rather than be appreciative for my services, momma accuses me of being so dim that I don't even know where my bottom is and that it takes many minutes for the fact that my nards are freezing to reach my brains.

As if! That sounds like an insult to my mentals if you ask me.

Item #3
My egg has started to hatch! Look! At first I was worried because it appears that my spawn has yellow furs, but I do know that many puppies are hatched with different color furs than they will have when they grow up, so I am not terribly worried.... yet.

Item #4
One of my oldest and bestest blogging buddies, Joe Stains is getting on in years and has developed a bad sickie. But his plan is to make life one big party as long as he can and I am all about that for sure. He does not want us to be sad which is kind of hard, but I respect and will do my best.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

So glad Dex is back up and moving around like normal! It boggles my brain that you live somewhere where ticks are around in March- we don't worry here until usually May-Sept!! But, I am happy the antibiotics are working and he's looking much happier!!
Can't wait to see what's really in the egg!!

We're so glad peeWee is feeling better. Are you snow melting services available the next time it snows here? Do we need gas masks or do you provide them? Are there long term affects? Enquiring minds need to know.

The spawn is a little scare, Mango.

We don't know Joe Stains, but a Bon voyage party is never a bad thing. The longer the better!

Treats and scritches!

Eh, if your nards haven't actually frozen off then I'd tell your Mom that she should appreciate the snow melting service you are providing and lay off on the cheap insults. We're glad that the Pea is feeling better, although maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he was just kinda calm for another day? (Just saying.... FWIW, Mom had to drug Abby - with the vet's assistance, BTW - for a week after she got spayed so she'd stay down enough the heal... I think those bouncy dogs are a little thick when it comes to the whole 'taking care of one's self' thing...). Your egg is starting to scare us, BTW.

Grrrreat news about Pea. Why do you suppose your momma fails to appreciate your Farts and their POWER???
I am a bit worried about how you are going to "provide nurishment" fur your SPAWN.
Sorry to hear about Joe Stains. I do not know him well butt have seen his comments and etc.. He is a super guy.. I can tell that fur sure.

You're looking so much better, Dexter! This is making us much happier!
We feel so badly about Joey. Have you been to Ike's blog yet?

Love ya lots,

I didn't know the Pea was feeling lousy! I'm glad he's better now though. & I'm glad you're keeping the farts out of the house, and away from the Pea. Don't think he'll appreciate having to get those gases while he's still abit down.

Party like rock stars guys! Thanks for posting about me, I am still feeling awesome I promise!

Great news about Dexter - it is easy to see the improvement already - good that you caught it early.

Now we always thought it was the Power of the Paws, but we think maybe we were wrong and it is really the Power of the Pass - great job on dissipating that snow, Mango.

We were also sad to see the news about Joey, but we hope he has many more happy days to come.

So glad to hear the Pea-nut is feeling better!
I still can't guess whats in that egg!! the suspense is killing me!
My first thought when I saw you sitting on the snow was the same as your momma. Aren't your nards freezing?! :)

Ike said...

Your nards! HA!
Totally crappy about the Pea - Lyme is the worst. F-ing ticks!

I am awfully glad to hear that Dexter is feeling better already!

Um, I am pretty sure that your mentals have been heinously insulted, Mango.

I have a very bad feeling about whatever is in that egg!

So sorry to hear about Pea and the Lyme!!! Hope he's feeling better so soon.

The farts and the cold nards... OMG! LOL!!!

We gave Mango a big smooch in the kissing booth! Too fun!

rottrover said...

Yea for Pee-Wee feeling better so soon! Actually, Mango, his energy seems to match yours better when he's a little under the weather... With all the snow you guys have had, one would think your momma would welcome any method you use to help her reclaim the grounds of the estate...

Off to gie the Mango a big, RH smooch!

In my capacity as Blogville's climate change specialist I feel the need to express my concern about the global warming potential of one of those Mango farts. Did you know that the average rear end exhalation contains 80% methane and that methane is 25 time more potent a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide?
Thought not!

We are so very, very glad that Dexter is feeling better. We are perplexed about the egg and sorry about Joe Stains. And we hope you're not contributing too much to global warming, but we're betting that whether you're putting those farts to work at snow removal or just hanging out, the farts are nonetheless inevitable.

Mango, I think your snow removal system is genius. Would it work down here in the south with leaves do you think? Glad Dexter is feeling better and I am sorry to hear about Joe Stains. Haven't heard from them in awhile and will check in. Joe was my first intro to dog blogs. Ann

Hi Mango, Item 1 hurray for Dexter for feeling better. Item 2 If you have a big bottom feel proud! You would think Momma would appreciate your farts being outside, I know I would. Item 3, verrry interesting.
Item 4, Hope Joe Stains keeps on partying. He has a sweet face for sure. Take care Mango dude, no worries, love Carol.

Glad that Dex is showing improvement and so quickly. He's lookin good and so are you.

That's an ingenious way of melting snow, Mango. We don't get much snow here in Oregon, but next time we do I will try it...

Kisses, Mango...oh, and I spent five bucks on you at the kissing booth today.

Need to go and wash my face.

We hope you feel better soon, Mr. Dexter. Mom finds ticks on us even tho we take Frontline every month. Scary.

Congrats on your snow-melting prowess, Mango. Perhaps they should hire you instead of those scary, scratchy-sounding plows during snow storms?

It sounds like you might even like your little brother. You better watch out, or we're going to think that you're getting soft! I'm SO happy that he's feeling better already.

Your snow removal technique is very creative. Could you come over and work on our yard?

Last, I'm sorry to hear about your buddy. It sounds like he has an awesome attitude, and we should all listen to him.

We're glad Dexter is feeling better. Those tickies are really nasty!

Those must be some really potent farts to melt all that snow! Have you offered your services to the DOT? It is probably less costly than road salt, plows and all that stuffs!

We're so glad that your little pea bro is feeling much better now. Being young always has some advantages, they strike back within a short time!
Well, I think sitting on the snow and melt it with fart is very innovative.
Video is GREAT as always.
Are you sure that eggy thingy is really your offspring? Hope you're right though.

God, Mango - I'm so sorry I didn't realise about Pee Wee's sickie!! Am so behind with my blog friends - I don't think I've visited anyone for 2 weeks!!!! (Bl**dy Muesli!!) Anyway, I'm really happy to hear that he is getting better already - ugh, Lyme disease - my human studied that in uni and she immediately got terrified that she had all the symptoms (not that I have a hypochondriac human at all - of course not!) - I don't think we have it here in Oz but we have paralysis ticks which can kill a doggie in 24hrs if you don't get the antidote...your post reminded Hsin-Yi to be a bit more careful coz she often forgets to check me after I've been walking through tall grass. Coz even with Frontline, it only slow the poison down - you still need the antidote. It's one reason my humans have been a bit reluctant to take me on walks in the countryside here and we just end up doing lots of pavement walks on the street!

Oh - and I know the story about the egg now! How weird! Maybe it's not really yours? Like maybe it was just "inserted" like cuckoo eggs, you know? You could be spending all your time hatching some weird monster baby!

Can't believe how different your estate looks! Last time I was here, it was covered in snow!!!
