Weather Alert by Dexter

Momma says there is a big wind coming. Can't imagine how it can be worse than what I deal with on a daily basis.

LMAO Dexter! Poor Mango! He has to release that pressure somehow!

On a serious note, I hope you all stay safe during the hurricane:)

Amber DaWeenie said...

Please stay safe and get far out of Irene's way if you can.

Mango, eat lots of beans and maybe Irene will hold her nose and go the other way.

Maybe you should tell him to stop tooting for a few days so he doesn't warm up that cold front can push Irene away! BOL!

The picture is hilarious! I'm laughing to the weekend!
The storm has no chance. There are so against wind.

We love Peppy Sheppy's advice.

Dexter - we think this particular wind could be a lot more dangerous than the Mango wind - but it probably won't have that aromatic scent:)

Stay safe.

Hey Dexter!
Wow, I'd suggest you let that relentlessly huge frame block that nasty storm! Stinky or not, it's a great wind-blocker! Stay safe!

Buy some chips and have a party. Just no eggs. Momma says those make the tooting worse.

Those weather forecasters try to scare the bejeebers out of everyone. I'm sure you will all be fine... except poor Dexter. He needs a doggy gas mask.

Dexter, we've thought about sleeping with gas masks on here after a certain hound has had something she shouldn't have!

Dexter - You are too much!!! LOL!

I love your header photo. It's rare that a Lab can look small.

Your mom asked if K was feeling better. The answer is yes, she's feeling better. However, we've been through this 5 times now. She gets better with each course of antibiotics and then she gets sick again within a week of stopping them. Our vet thinks that we need to go to the Vet school near here to get a specialist to try to figure it out.

I hope that Mango is continuing to improve!

Toot TOOT!!!

Having lived through many BIG hurricanes, I'm still unsure what all the fuss is over on the East Coast. (I get East coast channels and prefer to wartch GMA EARLY). I'm kinda amazed watching all the footage...

That's an all too familiar smell in our house too.

Sorry about your luck Dexter.

How are you dear Mango darling? Are you taking your nommy pills? Do I need to make a visiting nursie visit to assist with medication administration??? You wouldn't dare give me a dollop of trouble.

Stay dry tomorrow...it's a good thing you now have that big hill in your yardie...(prior blog post) so that all that rain can run off.

Kisses, Beastie

Your southern-hemisphere cyclone-surviving mates are hoping you hunker down and stay safe. And our advice would be to get out for a run as the eye passes over.

Jen said...

Hey Mango Momma!

I added you on facebook, through Sophie Brador because I am worried about you guys through the storm... hope you don't mind! It didn't give me a way to send a personal message too. Anyway, here's hoping you are ok!!!!!

We know from our FB friend's that you have no power. I will be flying the Broom to the Estate to immediately begin fanning you for comfort. Perhaps we could hook Peewee up to a makeshift generator and toss the ball for him??? There has to be a way to harness some of his energy!

Good luck on your morning ablutions...cold water? Do you have water? Hope you have gas in the Mastiff Mobile...

Paws crossed they will get those power lines fixed. Are they above or underground? Any other damage??

Keeping you in our thoughts. Tell your mom to use a tiny flashlight for reading...

Kisses, darling,

Beast
