Run Free, Gizmo

My friends, it is with a heavy heart that the Mango learned this morning that Gizmo asked to make his final journey. The bad cancer monster was sneaking up on him too fast and he needed to go to where there is no pain and all doggies are young and healthy forever.

You can visit his blog here.

So grateful I got to spend a little time with Giz in my arms yesterday! He was the sweetest boy! It was clear that he was ready to cross the bridge... I miss him so but...his pain is gone. I know he is with his big sister Allie cutting up and being his handsome sweet self!

My bloggy friend Karin just lost her boxer Phoebe to the same disease. It's so hard to lose your dog; it must be devastating to know he's going before you do lose him, and especially when he's so young. I've stopped by to offer condolences to Bart, Ruby and the Publicist.

I was so super-heartbroken when I heard abouts Gizmo having to go to the Bridge. I've heard it's a nice place but he shouldn't have had to go there so soon. I hate that stupid cancer thing! It's taken too many of our furends - and my Brudder Cap'n Ripley, too.

I'm sending all my luvs and most pawerful brindle wishes to Gizmo's family.

Gentle wiggles & wags,
mayzie
