The Optimistic Lab

Oh Mr. Chicken. Where are you?
My black leathery lips are ready for chomp time.

I can wait...

Dexter done!

P.S. A gentle reminder of the chip in activities to support the Houston Pittie Pack who lost five of their pack members and their entire estate to a horrible fire. The generosity of the dog blog community has been overwhelming and I know it means a lot to them. You can donate by clicking here.

Dude, I would have loved to have joined you on that walk, I hope your wait was worth it. hehehehe...
Tell Mango that mom and me thought of him when we found out what was wrong with me. Hopefully I will be as brave as the big guy when I go for my first hydro-therapy treatment in the treadmill. We can compare notes. :)

Well, we have never sen a sign like that one. We have seen them for deer, but a chicken would be so much easier to catch. Are you still waiting, Dexter?

There was a chicken on the trail behind our house the other day. Maybe it's your chicken and she's hiding. Shall we send her back to you?

Wanted to visit with you before the holidays got in the way. I am so far behind in my visits that I will never ever get caught up. I made so much noice tonight that the mom said I could visit with you. Love the photo and hope that the chicken found his way to your place. Was so terrible about the fire and all. We already pitched in with a donation. Such sad news.
Wishing you and your family the best of the holidays and a wonderful new year!!!

I tried to get one of Misery's chicken's once but Fearless went to hide behind the woodpile so I didn't quite manage the chomp. Such a shame I thought.

I hope your wait was worth it! On the road from our subdivision to the main road, there are people who have "yard chickens". Yep, they just live in the yard! No signs, though...I just drool whenever my mom takes me that way in the Aire-mobile!

Thank you very much for the great Christmas card! Merry Christmas to all of you!

Aire-hugs,
Patches (and Lana)
