Happy Monday by Dexter

We are kind of sad around here because two of our doggie pals succumbed to the evil seizure monster in the past week (our blog buddy, Fred, and Rusty the boxer dog who lived with one of momma's work friends).

It makes me worry about Mango. Because as much as I tease him....

Look at that face! Hello? Anybody home?

I'm kind of used to having him around and I don't like knowing that the seizure monster could come back and hurt him.

But nothing to cheer one up like a nice dip in the pool. Momma says I am mental fits for wanting to dive in when there are chunks of ice floating around. I say, it's never too cold for a swim. Just watch me. Here or below.

Dexter done!

Is that little dude a ball of fire or he just tried to look COOL???

All the good thoughts are sent on your way and cracker Eva will help chase away those nasty monsters; you know she is good at chasing whatever it is!

Dexter - have you gone cracker - going into ice water like that!

Dude... Aren't you worried about shrinkage in such cold waters? After all you are known as Pee Wee... we wouldn't want that to become a self fulfilling prophecy!

Hey Dexter, maybe you need to go into some details about the word LABRADOR and where it is and how it therefore defines your relationship with cold....

That's scary about the seizure monster. Sending Mango healing thoughts.

Dexter seems to be saying, "Fill'er up, Momma!"

I think Mango's too big and scary for any seizure monster to mess with. And BRR, that looks cold! I swim exactly once a year, at a fundraiser called Wags 'n Waves, and that's plenty!

Labradoink! Heh. Of course, my lard-bottomed sister will lie in the snow when it's -15F out, so who am I to say anything? And if you are having fun, then it's all good. As for the evil seizure monster, a bunch of us need to get together and take care of that thing for once and for all. It really sucks.

Sam and Pippen crack Mommy up BOL. Dexter to each his own, me I hate water unless I am drinking it. You go Dude, do what you gotta do. We love the Mango and those evil seizure monsters better just stay away. I love your header picture, it is too much for Mommy, she almost cried. We are sorry for the pals crossing the bridge at least the monster will visit them no more.

Oh Yeah, nothing like a dip in the ice to wake you up...
Mango is lucky to have you to watch over him and help keep that evil seizure monster away...
We all love Mango!

Oh Dexter, you are a silly boy for sure, but hey, if it makes you happy, go for it.

We thought immediately of Mango when we heard the news about Fred, so very sad for his family. We are so grateful Momma has been able to find a dose of pheno that seems to be working for Mango. We are just so very sad for Kari and family.

Pee Ess, we are on day 3 in the upper 80s in OP, KS.

Howdy Dex, we too hate the thought of the Seizure Monster visiting anyone else. Dexter, we know you love your big brother even if he is a plonker at times. Hey mate that water looked freezing. Lucky you haven't got nards or they might have frozen off. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Yes, we know you really love the big oaf. I mean the RH. We all love him too. And we are constantly sending vibes that keep the secret protective shield up and ready to keep the Seizure monster away!

Now as for you: you are a labradoink at heart... i'll bet you even like baths. geesh... weirdo!

Roo said...

Dexter you're a nut! I would require a heated wading pool ;)

Been chanting with smokin sage and anything else we can think of to keep the Seizure Monster away from Mango. Wish we could all just don some armor and go off in the woods and slay the beast.

Waggin at ya,
Roo

Sorry to hear about Rusty. We stopped over at Fred's yesterday. Seizures are horrid! Miss Sadie had one early last week. Always breaks my heart when she has one. : (
Hope today is a good one for you all. : )

Dexter Dude, I know just what you are thinking. Who cares if there is ice in it.....that just makes it more exciting. You and me aughta go on a Wild River Ride in the Tetons. WE could dive off in the rapids and swim for the shore, then swim back out to the boats and do it again.

wanna come.

We worry too Dexter...we know the big dude is .....well......the big dude but we don't want the seizure coming back - it is toooooo scary for everyone especially your Mom and Dad and the big dude himself.

What a touching, lovely header! Family is everything.

We like Wild Dingo's protective vibe shield and we're even willing to burn some sage, if that will help protect the RH. Whatever it takes, count us in.

Momma's label "Labradork on Ice" kinda says it all. At least it's not "Labradork on Slimy Ice!"

I couldn't figure out what I liked more about Dexter's icy swimming pool: the festive Mexican music at the end, the circular swim moves, or the "what?" look on his face so I'll just say I liked EVERYTHING about the video! Very cute but I can't figure out why he'd want to swim in those conditions!
I know, I'm worried for Mango too! I don't want to read that Mango had another seizure and I sure don't want him to be in pain either!

Dexter,
You love water. My brother would play with you. Y'all are well funny with water. Dexter my sister lived with epilispy for 14 years. She took medicine, and it kept going very well. She was happy and Mommy wouldn't have given up those years for anything. She took phenobarbatial and KBr. The seizure monster didn't get her.
