I Made a Stain

Today I made my first stain and frankly, I am a bit embarrassed.

Let me tell you what happened. First off, Master couldn't get my usual kibble because their sources of foodables have been cut off due to flooding in the Midwest of the US (they only use US products). So, I was switched to an alleged equivalent food, but it really isn't the same and it gave me some sort of sense of urgency if you know what I mean.

Then, both Momma and Master went to work and normally that would be OK with me, but sometime during the afternoon, I felt, well, irresistibly full and, what is a guy to do? Momma says at least I chose a floor which will soon be refinished, she still couldn't get the stain out with lots of scrubbing, so here are the results. This is after Momma scrubbed and scrubbed with lots of funny smelling stuff.

Sorry, Momma.

Plus, I am extra thirsty from all the, uh, relieving, I have been doing, so I couldn't wait to get to the pool for a refresh.

OK, that's better.Need to get some fresh water before it gets all labraick in it.I still feel kind of funny, so I opted for recumbent bitey face even in the big yard. Somehow, pee-wee seems not to have been affected by the abrupt switch in foodables.OK, midget, I will oblige to bite your face if you run by my recumbent self.Maybe I am also feeling a bit jet lagged from all that circling I did for Jackson. Oh my!

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Poor poor Mango. Thats a terrible tale of woe! I sure hope those terrible tummy troubles go away soon and your normal foodables make it back to the store soon.

Hey big guy,

There's a rule of thumb with dawgs. When you switch foods your pawrents are supposed to start by mixing half and half of old and new foods for a couple of days so you can adjust.

Personally, when we have had to switch food on a moment's notice, I just barf it all up and then get the squirts, usually horizontally and leave incredible artwork on the walls. (Thank goodness the pawrents have a lot of extra paint in the shed!)

One time, I was at my favorite dog hotel, Inavale Farm, and they had to give me their food. When Mum came to get me, I had been sick and squirting up a storm. As we drove home I crawled on her lap, just one miserable dog. As we made the final turn towards home I let loose with the loudest and wettest fart in my life. Took out the entire passenger seat in one to speak. We almost had an accident because Mum was crying she was laughing so hard. (I have mentioned how strange she is)

Mum says you need to re-group and have some gentle food like rice and cooked chicken (no skin) for a couple of meals and then slowly add the new food to your rice until you are comfy with it.

Get well big guy, we're all pullin for you.

Love, Dozer

The size of the stain is directly related to the amount of pain the cramp caused divided by the poop exit velocity ... ooooohhh poor Mango. By my calculations, that was very painful, but quick.

Feel better!

Mango, Mango, Mango! You could probably give Joe Stains a run for his money with that stain. It didn't look all that big in the picture (with nothing to compare it to), but considering your size, it was probably at least a gallon! Good thing that floor will be refinished! We do strange things too when our foodables are changed!

These things happen--my mom has given up and gotten us TILES for the house. Can't stain those, although they can be slippery. Hope you feel better. Sounds like the food was not agreeable to your tummy.

BARK!! Did you give them the sad eye's, so they didnt get mad? Mommy is more patient with me than Daddy when I have that problem, which is rare too. I think our "good" pup, outweighs our "messy" pup. BARK! Sasha the Princess

You exploded! I am so sorry for the explosion but sometimes it happens to the best of us. I live in the central us and if you need your food, I will go get it and ship it to you... I still think you are great

Ah Mango. Leave it to you to be smart enough to choose such an advantageous spot. But really, your peeps should consider finishing the floor as is. What a perfect autograph!

We are so sorry that you had an abdominal upset. Sometimes it can be helped where you let it all out at. Hopefully you are feeling better soon.

I just knew that Joe Stains would be uber impressed by your work! Glad that you are doing well now = )

Very impressive. Don't feel bad about it. Some foods do that to Arrow too. But his special food is yummy and I get it too. Maybe it's just your way of training the humans to give you better dinners. Worked for Arrow.
