I WON THE AWESOME BLOG OF THE MONTH AWARD ON DWB! Hooray for me and thanks to all my pals who voted for me. It is a true honor.
I've been wanting to participate in True Colors Thursday for a while and so Momma finally agreed. Unfortunately, this week's color is yellow. I suppose we could have gone for the yellow snow, but I was hoping for something more creative. Sadly, we appear to be yellow deprived at the estate.
Even things that ARE yellow apparently aren't really. For example, here is Dexter with his night light on the table which is yellow (really it is), but not when viewed through the flashy thing.
There are lots of yellows in the painting over my bed in the dog cave. Does that count?
Our rechargeable yellow flash light wasn't in the barn when it burned down, so we still have that (but no way to recharge it).
At last, something that really is yellow! Its the door that Master made for the guest room.
I'm kind of embarrassed. Maybe next week we'll get a color that we actually have.

P.S. My friend Moose reminded me that I have a yellow bee costume! Thanks buddy!

You tried very hard with the yellow. It is a difficult colour. The door to your guest room was very interesting!
We did wonder whether the painting was on the inside or the outside as it might keep guests awake!!!

Yay! Welcome to TCT! All the cool doggies are doing it! I love your bee costume. Moose's is supposed to be for a human so not as cool as yours though. Plus I can tell you are less grumbly about fashion shows than moose!
We have the same problem getting flashy things to show what color something is!

Hmmm yellow, I don't think I have much, if any of that, and I would NOT have a bee costume laying around, Scampi might though.

congratulations on the award...you most totally deserve it! We think you did a good job on yellow...it isn't one of the most popular colors around here, and we would be reduced to trying to get pictures of "part" of the pattern on our dishes.

I just posted all my yellow stuff and it turns out that we have more than I thought we would, since yellow is not one of my mom's favorite colors. I was thinking about the yellow snow thing, but I could not find any. I guess that will have to wait until next year for that one.
