Barn Update and A Pressie Via Royal Mail

I was sad to hear that my next door neighbor doggie, Maggie, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Monday. She was a great friend and always liked to tease me through the fence. Her family is very sad.

I haven't shown you any barn photos lately, so here are a couple. As you can see, Master spared no expense. The front doors look like they should open into a ballroom or something and he had some nice stained glass windows made for up top.

Even his cabinets are really pretty. They look nicer than the ones in my kitchen (ignore Master doing who knows what under the machinery).

My friend, Jarrod, came over today to fuss about with the manly tools. Master and his friends just love to cut up wood.

After examining the barn stairs, I suggested to Jarrod that if he cut the pieces properly perhaps he could finish the railings.

Jarrod went right to work and apparently Master, Evil Rick, and some other dude felt the need to assume a supervisory role. Guess Jarrod needs lots of advice.

Some of you might recall, that Minnie-Moo had a face in the hole contest and I totally won (OK, so it was a random draw, but just look at my photo, a winner, right?).

Well, her pressie finally arrived from across the big pee by Royal Mail!

Open with great haste!

Minnie sent me this nice note (I guess she accidentally put Dexter's name).

The note listed the contents of the package and they were all there except the tongue! Gads! Instead of a most curious toy, I just got the wrapper. Momma says the package appeared a bit damaged, but why would somebody steal a rubber tongue I ask you?

Hmmm... do you see the special human foodables? Momma shared them with her uber geek friends at work.

Sea Jerky?

There was also this most strange object which apparently is some sort of weird UK Frisbee. Gosh, they just are not normal over there, huh? Round footballs and Frisbees with sticky uppy parts.

I'll give it a try.

This is exciting! The Mango is RUNNING! WEEEEE!

And retrieving? Huh?

OK, I'm tired, let the squirt have a go.

OK, I am rested, give it back (notice how my agilities jumps mostly don't have cross bars? That is because I can't really be bothered to go over them when it is much easier to just knock the bars down).

Oh no! I am running again! Come back with my strange yet fun UK Frisbee.

Kid can't even carry it properly.

Oh thank you momma, I don't think I could have run much more.

Hmmm... crunchy too. Nom, nom, nom.

Thank you so much Minnie! You are pretty swell. Maybe if Pee-Wee were a sweet labragal such as yourself instead of a labradork I might like him more.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

P.S. Momma confiscated the Frisbee shortly after that last photo was taken because she said I was undermining its structural integrity. It has now been banished to the garage only to be returned under supervision. Sigh...

Awww Mango! Good job on winning that contest...quite the photo blob of you!

& I like that friz-bee....Does it still fly now that you have altered it structure?

Maybe it will make PEEWEE run in circles?

Love & Licks,

ps..I am sending good vibes to your neighbor..I'm sorry they lost their beloved Maggie...

Hmmm I can see why you won that contest...crikey.
Sorry to hear about your neighbour crossing the bridge. It's always sad to hear of a doggy passing even when we dont know them.
We always get quite jelly when we see what pressies go back and forth between our American chums and British maties. Food is a huge no no coming into Australia. It always gets confiscated and we end up with a nasty letter saying that YOU CANT BRING FOOD INTO AUSTRALIA...ok ok we get it! sheesh. Anyway you're lucky mate and the frisbee looks like fun albeit exhausting hehe.

Looks like your strange frisbee is a lot of fun. :) I was very surprised to see you run that much. Be very careful or your human will make you go for walks like peewee.

Congrats Mango!!!

Love the frisbee reverse engineering...That was what you were doing right??

I think Royal Mail is just excellent. What Royal Person delivered yours? Hamish thinks its a very good way for the Royal Family to keep busy.

Your master's barn is quite elegant. Are you sure he is not going to move into it when its done?

We are sorry fur your neighbours' loss...

Maybe woo should ofFUR Dexter to them?

Khongrats on the win!

Those are some nice pressies!

Mom treated herself to a chokhlolate bar like that yesterday (although she is khurrently storing it in the mikhrowave fur some reason) - hers is milk with almonds! They didn't have any dark on the shelf but she'll have that another time...

The barn is beginning to really look fancy smancy - perhaps woo khould rent it out fur funkhtions!

Does your mommie have to clean your slobbers? We hear mastiff slobbers can get really big! We say the video you posted recently and that looked like lots of slobbies!

Dear Mango,

Look at you go with that Frisbee!

What a great package; such a shame about the tongue :o(

My Daddee is currently asking permission from Mumma to have a barn just like yours....

Mumma said 'yes'. But I don't know where they are going to put it. Hooman's never think things through, do they?

We always thought that was a great Face in the Hole pic of you - congrats on the win and the pressies. Too bad about the tongue - some customs guy must have been hungry:)

What is that big thing in the left corner of the barn? It looks like a massive vacuum cleaner. We hope your Mom is putting in for some new cabinets too but without having a fire to get them.

woos, the OP Pack

Wow Mango, Master has an awesome garage, my daddy would love to have something like that, right now his work garage has to be shared with a car, a truck, and two riding lawn mowers, not to mention the frig that is out there and all his tools.
Pei ess, I really like your new toy and all the goodies you got.

Sorry about your neighbor. That is so sad.

We are betting the Department of Homeland Security confiscated your tongue. After all, loose tongues sink ships or something like that. Maybe they are trying to get it to talk right now.

And the barn - wowser. Very snazzy.

Nice pressies....sea jerky, huh? Smell like kitty foodies? Love the pic of Mango the Hutt. And your that going to be your new sleepy spot? Looks like a relentlessly huge man cave.

Ciao Mango!

Eh-va-reee time you say, "open with great haste" on your bloggie, I have to haul la mia ragazza up from the floor, where she's fallen in fits of laughter. She finds that remark screamingly hilarious. Sigh ... hoooomans.

I am very sorry to hear about your neighbor, Mango, and will send some special soothing AireZen to her famiglia. Run with the wind, Maggie!

Tanti baci!

Barn is looking beautiful! You are lucky to have a master who can build cool things (along with friends)! If that crew wants to visit the Keys I can provide lots of work, Dunkin Donuts and Coffee!
Fun pressies but quite the mystery about the 'tongue'!

p.s. Sad about your neighbor. Doggies should really live longer than they do, it is never enough!

Hi Mango
We were sorry to read about Maggie - we know it is a dreadfully sad time. We just know you will be extra nice to your neighbours right now.
The barn looks amazing and our mum is wondering can we just move in and live there!
It is a long way from how it was back whenever the old barn sadly burned down.
Congratulations on your parcel - full of fun things for you and Dexter to enjoy! It was nice to see you both playing with it - too bad it has now been confiscated!
We don't know Minnie but that was very kind of her.
We are glad you went to meet Chester - we think you need to meet more labradorks!
And no we never stick our noses up ladies skirts.........come to think of it we can't remember the last time we saw a lady in a skirt they all seem to have trousers.
Oh well we guess that is the price of emancipation!
Have a good weekend oh great one!
love and kisses

Oh, Mango- you have us all ROFL as usual!! Gotta hand it to your momma for transcribing all your insightful & witty musings!! Your Master's barn is breathtaking - bet you could eat off the floor in there & not even get sawdust stuck on your tongue!

Great face in the hole picture - gotta have my mom look finding something appropriate for me!!
Quite the intriguing frisbee no doubt. Have to agree with you mom about the structural integrity issue - think it might fly off-course and result in abnormal amounts of energy exertion to retreive it! Wouldn't want to see that happen to you...

Hi Mango,

Man, what a barn! Where do ya live? We're mov'n in! Mommy and Daddy too!!

Beautiful! We also enjoyed the pics.

I hate that old Rainbow Bridge! Too many wonderful pets go over it and never come back.

My mom person says your barn looks nicer than our house.

It's a great picture that won you that contest & I think that the adjustments that you made to that frisbee make it much more interesting.
