My South African Adventure - Conclusion

Well, it is time for my adventure to come to an end. I want to give special thanks to Asta, Lacie, Petey, and Joey for all their help developing my photos. It was a watchyercall, collaborative effort and great fun for my large and always amused by a fart joke self.

Ever fashion conscious, Asta and Lacie donned some traditional outfits for the journey home.

Interesting how flattering well draped fabric can be on a full figured gal.

Pee-Wee was happy to find some friends willing to get wet with him.

And Joey showed off some of the dancing with the stars moves he learned whilst out in the wild.

My Darlin MJ had been feeling a bit neglected, so I thought it wise to take her off for a romantic interlude, but my thoughts were most disturbed by a nagging image in my large yet simple brain every time I looked at her.

We all posed for a final photo with Max in front of his estate;

Scruffy, Lacie, Asta, BabyStan, Pee-Wee, Petey, Joey, Tanner, and of course my large and handsome self.

Lacie took a quick trip inside to give one of her outfits to Max's girlfriend, Tammy, who I think is a changed doggie after meeting the little beast.

And we're off! It was a tight squeeze, but we managed to fit everydoggie (including Honey, Miss Kylie, MJ, and Khyra) AND their luggage on to our transportation to the airport.

Bon voyage!

We might be leaving some broken hearts behind. I think Toffee is better off with a large body of water separating him from you know who. He'll get over it.

As for Max and Tammy? Well, I hear they have couples counseling in South Africa...

As we drove down the lane, I spotted something I had heard about, but would not believe if I didn't see it with my own eyes...

A MANGO TREE! So that's where Mangos come from.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Hey there Mango Dude!
...You big slobber dog you!

How do we say THANK YOU enough to give you credit for the absolute blast we had with your visit to SOUTH AFRICA?!
Big boy, you have to do me a favour and go and give your Mom some big drooly licks, from all of us! Whisper in her ear that she is so incredibly creative and that we have all benefitted as a result.

Mango mate, I salute you! (in your pith helmet and all).
Thanks for a great time.
Lots of licks
PS Another wonderful post! Lots of hard work and lots of fun!

We wish we had a Mango tree in our back yard. But we hear something is always dropping from it. And does it have an odor?

Hey Mango!

Thanks for inviting us along! The apartment here is a disaster and we've had take-out food since preparations for this adventure began, but it's been great fun and we're crazy about our new South African friends.

(DId you like the tusks we gave you on the trophy wall?)

Your pal,

We have enjoyed every moment of your trip to Africa and are glad you came home safely. For one moment when we saw that little nose-to-tail convoy of Mango and nelli phants, we weren't sure of your return.

It is so inspiring to be among such talented pals as Joey and Asta and Lacie and Petey -- and of course your Relentlessly Hooge Self.

Wirey woofs of admiration!!!

Whatever shall we do with out your adventures to amuse us all? I hope you didn't forget to bring me a wee sparkly diamond, and I don't mean the baseball kind either! I hope you have safe trip home.
