Dexter Day - Payback

After hearing about the heinous attack that Hector suffered at the jaws of that puppy Oliver on Thursday, I was determined to give that little rascal a good talkin to.

I arrived at his estate to find him practicing his slobber skills.

I immediately set to giving him a lesson in big dog.

Back home, I was quite worn from my vigorous workout with the annoying puppy.

I told the Relentlessly Huge that next time Oliver is coming to our place, restraining order or no restraining order.

Hey! You like my new collar?

OK, time for football and a well deserved nap.

Dexter done!

Um...Dexter...I'm thinking that you got sorta lucky with Oliver...he um looks ALMOST AS BIG AS YOU...and he seems rather well...

The next time you might not be able to face plant him...has he started dating yet? Just wonderin'....

I'm thinking you might need to hire me as your Pawsonal know...buff ya up and stuff...I gave Stan a good workout in the yardie this morning. Stan doesn't like to well MOVE...but I had him improvin' his cardiovasular status a million fold...yes...a little sinking of the teeth into his shoulder is involved..very effective method of motivation.

Letme know...

Wow, good face plant Dexter. That'll teach Oliver not to mess with you. Errrr, did he actually like your fart???
Lovely collar by the way. The colors look really nice with your shiny black furs. Have fun watching football.

Hi ya! Really good work there Dexter! Get 'em!
Thanks for stopping by....not sure why the duck-tolling retriever was barky at you class the other day. I'm a golden retriever, I guess that's a little different....I do like ducks though. Watching them that is. And, I do just bark sometimes...just 'cause....
Have a fantastic day!

Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

Good Job Dex! no more stoooopid restraining orders. more fun instead. it pays to have The Mango to practice bite face on, so you can smack down doggies bigger than you (but not as big as The Mango). now go shove that tongue back in his mouth. whether it fits or not!

Your new collar is cool! And hey! Is Mango wearing the "doggy dreams" by Lupine? I wear that sometimes!

Having read your post all the way through, we find ourselves exhausted and in need of a nap. How did you do it, Dexter?

Hi, Dexter!
I can see Oliver is still full of energy!
I understand you were tired after that!
Kisses and hugs

little puppies have so much energy, almost relentless in fact :) It sounds like you did a nice job of putting him in place though.

As for the little toller in class- yeah they can be crazy loud some times :) Vito used to scream whenever he was the tiniest bit excited, but now he reserves his screeching for moments involving the tennis ball+water or a chuck it that he can't convince to throw the ball :)

Golden Samantha said...

I don't know how you got up the energy, but that face-plant was pawesome. I was rooting for you all the way home... where I learned that Oliver may visit again, restraining order or not. I can't believe you'd let him come to your estate. Well... between you and the RH, I guess there'd be no question...

I think you taught Oliver a lesson. But is it wise to let him come run circles around Mango? We large dudes just cant' abide by all that commotion.

That face plant was killer!

Niamh said...

That Oliver is a bold little guy and he sure can trash talk! Glad to see that you gave him the face plant he so richly deserved! You deserve some special treats for all your hard work.

I love it when a party ends up requirin' a restrainin' order. You definitely need some downtime now to be ready for when he visits you.

Nice bling!

I thought I saw you playing bitey face at my dog park today but it must have been one of your labradude cousins. I do like your new collar and I'm glad you are developing an interest in fashion.

Hi Dexter!
That was a winning face plant move! Frappie should learn a few moves from you whenever Mocha tries to bully him. We think you sure taught Oliver a lesson. Hope Hector is feeling better and is fastened back to his wheelie.

Thank you for making us laugh Dexter! I am pretty sure that Oliver quadrupled in size. His slobber skills are quite impressive for a youngster.

After checking out the photos of you and Oliver I am not sure if you were correct when you said your job is done here. I think Oliver may have got the best of you on this lesson. I thought the tongue photo was funny. Does it fit in the mouth of Oliver? Better luck with lesson two.

Hi Dexter,

To me it looks like you and Oliver will be great playmates someday. I know I'm knew to this blogging thing but how come Mango doesn't get to play with you guys? I'm sure I missed something somewhere.

Hey ya! No problem! Yea, I'm a golden retriever...lots of folks ask what I I am not as furry and big as typical goldens... We think Tollers are pretty cute too. So anyway...that's the scoop. Have a wonderful evening!

Hey Dexter..
Nice face plant move.. man that oliver is evil. Mango was right. I think his new name should be mike... mike tyson. It looks like he took a chunk out of your ear.

Pssst... Mango. Over here! I think that you may have found the perfect foil for Pee-Wee. I talk to the DOH and see if she can send Pee-Wee over there more often...

Wow, Dexter! Way to show the little, uh, kind of little guy who's boss! But wow. Puppy-itis. I'm now scared of my future little sister.

I quite glad that the labradorks enjoy playing together so much so that they do not bother the relentlessly huge. You should probably slobber on them anyway.

I wish our brudders could get together and wear each other out and you and I could hang out together and meditate.
