This and That

Having so many blogging pals is a mixed blessing. It seems that for all the joy and good times, there are always many of our friends who need our good thoughts. Today we are thinking of;

Mango Momma

Hey, what about Guinness? Momma says that he is going to be fine, but he still has a sore mouth.

In a belated tribute to Veterans Day, I am posting this link to Mental Floss's compilation of dogs greeting their people who are returning from military duty. Get your hankies ready.

And finally, Momma made the BIG mistake of letting stupid pee-wee loose in the yard without his cone this morning. You can see the results for yourself.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Hi Mango, Dexter looked good to us!
You guys were having great fun in that video - don't pretend you weren't Mango!
We are thinking of all our blogging buddies out there who are not so well and of course Max with the worry of his surgery.
As you say a mixed blessing sometimes having friends but we wouldn't be without any of you for a minute!
love and kisses

RuhRoh! did you hurt your hips, or is that just how you run? we hope Pee-Wee was not too rough on you although HE seemed to be happy for the run! Thanks once again for the support of my tender mouthy. i am doing well and getting spoiled with lots of ice cream and soft boiled eggies! hehehe. it was a big price to pay though, i won't be pulling a stunt like that again. i hope. we oculdn't believe all the comments on our bloggy :-O
thanks again big dude!

Thanks for posting those pups and peoples who are sick - we went over to offer some words to thems we didn't know was hurting. We (well, mom loved them too) adored the dogs-greeting-soldiers vids - Mom managed to hold the tears until the dads surprised their kids at school and then there was gusher after gusher. Finally, PeeWees' zoomies... oh... love to do that, but are his stitches still okay? Wowzer, is he kwik!!! Mango... good try to maybe stop him??? I can't say thanks enough for all your post info today (and always, of course!
Hugs xo

One of the things that makes mom the happiest is watching us terriers do zoomies and play bows and more zoomies. So she was really happy -- in the midst of all the worries about our ailing pals -- to see the two of you having fun in the yard again!!

Life is always so bitter sweet: good friends to love; good friends to worry about.

Wirey love,

Jake and Just Harry

love the way you get peewee to do most of the running very sly and yes we are worried about all the sickie dogs and can only hope they all will be ok

Moose said...

Oh boy! Pee wee got recess yesterday! Awesome zoomies Pee Wee! Yes, it is sad to read when blogger pals are having trouble and when you have lots of them there is always someone in trouble. I live in fear of the day that we are on that list :-(
As for Moose being calm, I am afraid Pee-wee won't act like that for another 7 years! It was kind of uncharacteristic for Moose to be that calm too. He usually starts woofeling when he thinks too much. I swear you could see his little labra-brains toiling away up there!

Wow, Pee Wee sure has a lot of energy - look at him go. Mango, we hope you are OK with all the racing around. We don't want you getting hurt again.

Those welcome home videos were just wonderful to see, they made Mom leak a lot, but in a good way.

Yup. That's just about how it goes here. My stupid boys run in larger circles, and I stay in a much smaller area. Let them get worn out! I am dignified! Play on, Mango and Dexter.

Well, days in the cone have not dampened Dex' love of zoomies. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
