WTF Wednesday - Lettuce Head

You know, I wasn't going to blog today, but when Momma reported hearing a curious news item on the BBC news I just had to investigate. I mean, really, I figured she had just set out for the work place without enough coffee inside her slow to start in the morning self, so imagine my surprise when her reports of a lettuce head bandit roaming the streets of Great Britain were confirmed via a quick google search!

Police have admitted having technical issues after releasing an e-fit of a burglary suspect which looks like a man wearing a lettuce.

You can read the rest of the article here.

I mean, really, WTF, right?

Now, momma seems to recall a character named "Cabbage Head" from some TV show named "Kids in the Hall."

But he wasn't a bad guy, just a jerk. And how about this YouTube I just saw about some hapless gal who was a little trigger happy on her Facebook.

One has to wonder, what is really going on over there across the big pee.

Mango Man! Oh yeah!

P.S. As long as I have your attention, might as well remind you that the clock is ticking on my I Wanna be Like Mango contest. Tick tock, tick tock.

It doesn't surprise us that our police force would release an e-ft of a man with a lettuce on his head. Neither would it surprise us to find that the man could very well be wearing a lettuce on his head

My momma thought you meant someone was running amok in London stealing head lettuces from gardens.

However, the suspect does not seem to have long floppy ears, so that can't be right.

Well, if you ask me, that's really the only good use of lettuce. My mom and dad are always, "Mmmmm...lettuce is SO good!" What's up with that? Now, puts some meat sauce on it and I might think about it.

Anyways, we had such big plans for our "Wanna Be Like Mango" entry but I'm not sure how that's gonna work out. Mom's been kinda, well, lazy - between you and me.

While the robbery's not funny, the total confusion of that story definitely qualifies for one of the best WTF Wednesdays I've ever LOLed over! Thanks for that chuckle, not to mention that silly girl's bday party invite - will have to follow that to see what happens - whoa. And we should enter Mango's contest, but we're woefully and pathetically behind on so much that we have to bow wow out this time - so sorries. But we're gonna stay tuned! Thanks for the laughs!

got your comment about the two last photos for the contest and reread your post. I'm a goofus! Well, actually, since it's you, and you know all about tolling contests, I don't even need to explain. I'm both ecstatic by the response and deeply fried.
